gauging interest and wondering what people think its worth. seems the prices for these cars are all over the place for some reason.
2013 sho 402a and Performance package, voice activated nav, heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheels, remote start. 20" premium wheels, black leather.
it has every option available minus the moon roof and the adaptive cruise.
the car has 32k miles. the only mods are intake, unleashed tuning 93oct tune, plugs, 3 bar sensor, t stat.
car is flawless. i purchased the car with 12k miles. i had the windows tinted and had a clear bra professionally installed. it includes the whole bumper, headlights, half the hood, mirrors, partial front fender, all the door edges, door handles, and the area on the top of the rear bumper near the trunk. the car has been opti coated and very well cared for. everything works as it should and all tires have 70+ % tread. i also have a winter set of police interceptor wheels with blizzak tires with 1 season on them.
i absolutely love the car but i really need to get back into a truck. id love to keep the car but i really don't need 4 vehicles.
the one and only flaw with the car is on the inside door jam of the driverside door there are some scratches in the paint. they can only be seen when you open the door. they were there when i purchased the car, never bothered me... otherwise the paint/body is flawless.

Beautiful specimen! If indeed as described, I would say 24-25K. Usually is a harder sell with a tune setup, because it brings doubts to the mind of the buyer re: how the car has been treated. Back to stock, you could get 3-4K more. If you don't find a private buyer, it has been most people's experiences that CarMax makes the best offers for the SHO (probably any vehicle). The winter setup may add further value, now is probably good time to sell.
If those scratches can be buffed out easily, I'd get that done. A spot on a pig goes unnoticed, but a spot on a clean shirt stands out, as my dad used to say.
And make sure any recalls are taken care of: halfshaft, door handle spring, etc. Look through the TSB/recall thread here:

Best of luck!
Great looking car, really like the color,if your looking for a truck you can always try to traded it in and see what the appraisal value would be,think Ford will probably give you a little more,BTW wonder how much lighter your car is without the sunroof, best of luck to you. Z
I just recently got mine and paid 24k. It was by far the best deal around and the main reason I got the car. It's fully loaded minus the PP. So that should be the low side depending on your demographics. It should sell quick at that.
OP, those PI wheels look great on the car.
thanks guys. the car has only had the mods for MAYBE 1k miles. I've never brought it to the track etc. can easily be returned to stock so that really shouldn't be a concern. the car actually has like 4-5 months left of the factory warranty.
i wish the scratches could get removed but i know they couldn't.
so your saying you think it could be worth 27-28 returned to stock? thats a big jump lol.
i actually purchased the car from carmax so i will most likely bring it to them just to get an offer.
I put mine on Craigslist for $28K and didn't get one bite. I have 25K miles.
I may try harder to sell it next summer.

Can you post a pic or two? There are quite a few folks on here with eyes for detail who might be able to advise on the matter :) If you want.
Yeah, the value CAN jump that much! This is what people have been reporting. They would list the cars on here & other sites (like craigslist) with the tunes bolted on and get barely a nibble. Then they returned the car to stock, sold the parts separately, and made out much better. Buyers just DON'T want a big
?. They might pay as such for a collector car or if they knew the seller VERY well, but otherwise ...
yea, ill get a pic. almost looks like someone took a screwdriver to it to break into it but i don't think that was the cause. my guess is a key chain from the previous owner. i have the car scheduled for its 2nd opti coat detail, ill see what my guy thinks about it and what i should do, it definitely down to primer.
on a side note, is there anyway i can change something so i don't have to type in the stupid verification boxes before posting? its pretty much the most annoying thing ever on a forum lol!
nice car poker, in my opinion tho i think silver is a very hard sell. i think the ruby my car is in will sell the car no doubt. people love this color, especially after all the details its had the color just absolutely pops at you in the sun.
here is a pic of the scratches. like i said looks like a screw driver but i think it was just a key chain. the weather strip/door show no signs of damage. with my experience with this car the ruby paint is extremely thin and very fragile so i could see a key chain doing this easily.

I purchased this touch-up pen at the dealer and quite honestly does a great job covering up minor scratches, just make sure to use it sparingly, especially when using the brush applicator, the part # is on the bottle, hope this helps any. Z

The captcha will go away in a few posts after it figures out you aren't a devious spam bot...
Your detailer can definitely fix these scratches. Like Z said, touch up paint + a little careful polishing should bring it back 90-95%. I see detailers do this all the time, it comes down to cost, I guess!
yea I'm sure it can be repaired. went to carmax today and got a offer. seems a little low tho
Offer was?
$21k
Damn, yeah that sucks lol.
Put it on Craigslist for $26K and see what happens.
I enjoy my car too much to give it away. $26K is the least I'll let my 25k fully loaded SHO go for and that would hurt. I'll probably end up keeping it for another 3-4 years.
yea, just seems really low. i still have my carmax warranty to cash in but its still less then what id like to see for the car even if you factor in the savings on taxes.
if i didn't have more use for a truck id definitely keep the SHO, its by far one of my favorite cars I've owned. if i didn't already have 2 fun weekend cars id keep it aswel lol
Sounds on the low side but wholesale/trade values always do.
Where in CT are you located?
I'm in vernon
well, brought it to another dealer... got a little better offer.. we shall see what i end up doing. private party sale is pretty hard at this time of year plus since there is already a loan on the car that makes it a little more difficult aswel.
If there is a lien on the car it could be more difficult and would take an extensive period of time and preparation before all the paper work is finalized,as mentioned a while back just traded it in and let the finance manager handle the paper work process so you could enjoy your new truck a.s.a.p. Z
yea it always makes it a little more difficult. i found the truck i want to now its just a matter of making the numbers work. the dealer is very close to making me happy.
