Can anyone tell me if in fact there windshield replacement actually was an oem replacement and how long it took to order it and pics below of the (oem ford carlite soundscreen windshield, noticed many members claiming to have a oem replacement glass and was curious if there's was the same as the pics below which is my original windshield, greatly appreciate any and all input in this matter. This is the replacement windshield I got fall 2013. They were able to get it next day. Ziebart installed it in Parma Ohio. (http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/25/f1ac86beed6e345f5967b33a3b3e5d48.jpg)

Had mine replaced a few months ago with a factory replacement. It took about 2 weeks total if I recall correctly.

Just noticed mine is a "gen 2"... That's good for 5hp right?
Thanks for all the replys, was just curious because my new glass company wanted to be certain that they obtain the correct windshield based on the vin #which due to the many functions of the built in camera feature making it that much more harder to come by,besides it being on national back order. Z
Got mine replaced for $280 and done at my home .

Had mine done a few months back. Made the appointment within a few days of the windshield cracking and it was replaced in 3 hours.
Mine cracked after a high speed highway run, something flew up and hit the exact center where the camera was, took about a day for insurance to process the free replacement(state law) and a day for the autoglass company to order the oem windshield. They took 10-15mins to remove and install the new one; They had explained to me there's a guy who has his replaced almost monthly somehow and due to the double pane they crack so much easier, yet the insurance company has to replace them for free regardless of how many replacements are performed..
Yep... Glass coverage is good! I have replaced my windshield 3 times due to the high percentage of 10"+ lifted PUs out here.... The option on my ins. is $5/year... What a bargain.
