Title: Replacing master cylinder help (ABS bleeding)
Post by: brewerp93 on September 04, 2015, 05:55:40 PM
Hey so I am looking to do the master cylinder swap that was in this thread http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,609.0.html (http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,609.0.html) my main concern is getting any air into the ABS module, I am just curious if anyone else that did this if they introduced any air into the module what was your method for getting it out? Or if not what did you do to prevent any air from getting in? I would prefer to not have to buy or take my car in to have someone bleed it with an abs simulator since they would like to charge a pretty penny for that typically. I have been trying to see if this can be accomplished with just a pressure bleeder or if that wouldn't be able to force the air out of the system either.
