Ever wonder what happened to my Stainless works downpipes? Ever wonder how the exhaust sounds with the downpipes on a different vehicle with different mufflers? I had the opportunity to sync up with the individual who I sold the downpipes to and here are the results. Enjoy!

I know! I'm happy sabtaj1 got a good price on them. I just wish I would have spent more time to get the magnaflo fiberglass muffler... but a little too late for that. I really didn't see anything fixing my problem lol

Since sabtaj1 only has the axel back, does he not still have the OE 3rd cat?

I must say great video as usual B,but one thing you forgot to mention is that the Corsa cat back exhaust has absolutly no drone whats so ever, cause personaly that drone could be almost as annoying as the rasp from hell. Z
Yes. I do still have the 3rd cat and and third muffler under the car. I was gonna get rid of it and do an x pipe but I don't think I'm gonna do that just yet.
Thanks for the vid.
1st Ecoboost exhaust I didn't hate.
Nice job sabtaj!

What I want to know is what that box is on your steering column...

It's one of these.

Makes sense that the rasp is less with the 3rd cat still installed. Sounds really good.

welp, i just bookmarked the MRT mufflers....
If it ever stops raining here I will try n get some better audio/video and throw it on YouTube. As for the box it is the snow #20100 stage 3 kit. I actually just finished the install last night and am working with Torrie on the tunning. So far it pulls hard. Hopefully it's ok to post a link. But here is the link with pics and how I set it up. Hell, it may even help you SHO dudes I hope.

Would it be OK to bring over this HOW TO to our forum? TIA.

I think they want you to create a thread in the "how to" section on the Snow install. Just post pictures and add more descriptions around what you did (eg bumper, clamps for bumper, how you removed it... any tricks you used. Anything you broke.... etc.)
Sabtaj1, do you have a link to the mufflers? Sounds great!

Here's a quick little video for the exhaust. not sure why it's got a little cracking on the mic sound. Sorry bout that.
I emailed MRT like i told myself i wouldn't asking about a kit for our SHOs
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At this time we do not offer a kit for the Ford Taurus SHO and we don't' have anything lined up to design one. We can always do a custom axle back for you vehicle if you are able to bring the vehicle by our shop in Plymouth Michigan . I would estimate an axle back system for this vehicle to be in the $700 range and take about 2-3 days to complete . If you are unable to bring the vehicle you could possible looks for someone on a forum or in a club to be willing to allow us to develop the system off their vehicle .
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime.
Thank You

Worst part is, i lived 15min from their shop 13 months ago!!!! >.<
All good info. Does anybody know why the SHO version would be more expensive?? I would think the only difference would possibly be different angle/shape of the inlet pipes and the hangers, right???
No idea. But MRT does do good work. I remember what they had done for the Focus ST, this is just the exhaust piece for that customer:
2013 Ford Focus ST - MRT Eco-Flow Tuned Exhaust (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KAmnN1w-GM#)
His Focus:
2013 Focus ST - MRT Eco-Flow w/ Resonator swap (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhJD_AU-Lac#)
don't quote me 100% on this one, but if i were to only purchase an axle back setup.... the flex and SHO look damn near identical (this is 4min of googling images)
(look at under body image)

thoughts?
If I can find someone with a SHO near me I would be more than happy to take mine off the flex to hold underneath for reference or whatever. And I just viewed the flex/sho exhaust and I think you may be correct. if not damn close. or if anyone is near MRT to stop in and compare
Damn shame you're not in North Texas. I'd take you up in that offer in a heart beat. Great sounding ride! I may just have to opt for those muffs and get the welder out!

What part of the country are you in again? Would you be willing to at least measure the distance between the center of the tips for starters?
Thanks!

Magnaflow 24 inch mufflers. no third cat, cats are supposed to increase/decrease sound by about 15%. Have drone if i try and hold a high gear and load is high, have to try to do that though.
