Title: MGP Caliper cover spacers
Post by: 2011TAURUSSEL on April 14, 2015, 12:26:39 AM
How will I know if I need the spacers?  I have a 2013 SEL with the optional 19" GOodyears?  I requested the vendor send spacers just in case but is there any harm in installing the spacers anyway?

shouldn't be any harm as they are so thin probably 1/4" max, not like those big wheel spacers, but would try without if you can.

Installed but appear to be dragging....any ideas?

I checked fit with the business card feeler gauge and didn't drag.

I did the feeler gauge  before wheel was installed.  Could the weight of the vehicle be a factor?  I can't find any obvious place where it is catching but appears to be between the spacer and the top of the new rotors.

Pending any new information I might consider removing for now at least until Carlisle.
