Title: Soon to be 2013 SHO Owner... Hopefully
Post by: SeriousFrank on February 13, 2015, 04:30:56 PM
Hello! :D

I have been massing my money for a solid year and approachin my goal of 20k. I have my eyes set on a 2013 SHO with Perf. PKG and all the other goodies. Basically a fully loaded all Black Ford SHO. I've had my eyes on this thing for months... I must be lucky because I have found 2 of the exact same car down to the paint and they have been sitting on the lot for months... I pray to God I get my car sold so I reach my 20k goal, currently I am at 14k, but I will have close to 16k without  the car at the rate I can save money.

I had a quick question...

Any of you guys 6ft and up? I would really like to know if the car feels big enough for you. I can't stop thinking about the cockpit... I tested the 2010 and it felt a little small. How do you guys think a fully loaded 2013 model would be for a tall guy like me?

I'm 6'1", 210. Personally I would prefer the seat to go down lower. Also my right knee hits the console in a weird spot.  I have the seat automatically adjust back as far as it will go so getting in and out isn't an issue for me. These are really just observations rather than complaints though.

Good luck in your endeavors.

There is plenty of room for me at 6 ft 210 lbs not sure about anyone who sits behind me. These cars are really comfortable.

6'2" 215 here and I'm fairly comfortable even on long excursions. My only issue is not having a dead pedal.

6 foot 205, find the car to be plenty comfortable, even on long trips.

The car I want cost 29k(31-32k with taxes) and I want to have my payments as low as possible.

200 dollar payments are doable for me, so a large down payment is my only option. The first car I ever got I put down 1k... My payments were borderline 400 dollars and I will not make that mistake 3 times lol. I also put 1k down on my second car... terrible idea.

Two ideas. Should be able to get down on price several grand. Second try sesearching your bank for rates and also credit unions usually offer better used car rates

Roger Dat! I have all my bases covered and since my mom owes me a favor (money) she's going to get a loan in her name and she's been approved for 3.0% finance loans. My credit is bad, but I make enough to own a SHO.

I have a buyer for my current car, but travel a lot and I'm stuck in another state lol... So, I have to wait for him to get the money and for me to get back to town.

I have a question about Methodist Injection, what is it and how do you get it. Also, is it something a daily  driver would have in it? -- I'm serious.

Lol seriously LMAO.  I know it was an auto correct fail, but I don't think any one on here knows how to find Methodist injection.

First yes you can run it in your daily driver. It's usually set up to run only when you reach set boost levels. Like it start spraying 25% of its flow at 7 pounds of boost. Then at 12 pounds of boost it is at 100%.

So normal driving your not into the boost all day long. And the meth or water meth mixture will normally last you at least a week. Depending on tank size and driving habits.

There are several brands to buy.  All the major tuners and part suppliers on the forum have kits for sale.  But there are many more options out there. high dollar Complex kits to cheap bare bones kits .

It simple explanation.  Straight meth injection adds extra fuel into the motor. The extra fuel is also a very high octane fuel. So you get more fuel iinto. Your motor to make more power, but it also also more boost because of the octane and cooling of the incoming air.

WTF... I bet 60% of the mods out there I wouldn't be able to do because I live in California, I have no access to high octane fuel (93 octane). I can only get 91... haha how many of you guys live in Cali ??

Apologize for the late reply, been feeling under the weather, the good part is it sure can be used as a DD,there are so many variables to take into consideration, having full access to meth(racing gas)proper intallation of the meth kit and being able to be tuned for it,and Dyno tuned to gain the full potential out of your vehicle, best of luck and feel free anytime to ask anything thats on your mind,Z.
