Title: My SCT live wire TS will not connect to new laptop

My SCT live wire TS will not connect to new laptop, i just bought the new dell touch screen for dataloging, and the comp will not find device, Help please! lol :)

I'd call SCT directly Phone Support – 1.866.297.6298 (Mon-Fri, 9am-7pm Eastern) for help.  That said, you have a USB connection to the laptop?  Installed the software on the laptop BEFORE connecting the device?  Sometimes it takes a couple of tries for success.

yes all software is up to date and i have correct usb, i tried everything, rebooted computer and all, the old computer still reads the device tho, is it a new windows issue i called act and was on hold for 30 mins and 9th inline i hung up lol

If I remember correctly, I had to install some kind of USB driver for the software to recognize the device (X3).  I don't know if that solution will work for the TS, but ...

I had to install an old version, then update with new software.  So try that.
