Title: Some passes in my V from this weekend - new best 10.3@133 without nitrous
Post by: EcoPowerParts on February 08, 2015, 07:33:31 PM
First pass was on my street tires 2/6 - 19x10 Forgelines with 305/35R19 MT - LOTS of wheel hop.
2nd and third pass was from 2/8 on my 17x11 Welds with 325/45R17 M&H tires - SMOOTH - almost got a 1.4X 60' - 1.50
Blew the fuse to my nitrous relays so they didn't fire on the 3rd pass, you can see me honking the horn once nitrous is armed (in console) to purge.
BMR Built CTS-V runs lots of 10 second 1/4 mile passes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYCHvQLmlAk#ws)

Right around 1000, you can see me try and go higher in the first pass and it just pushes through the brakes.

Very nice!!!  I'm getting a V next to replace my SHO I've had nothing but trouble with my SHO and it only has 4,000 miles on it. What mods do you have done to your V?

I just don't know if I want an A6 or M6 trans. Do you ever wish you had got a manual?  I know they are slower but I love the driving experience you get with a manual.

I don't ever wish I got a manual, one of the local guys went 11.2@131, they're not fun for racing. I also have broken both knee caps when young and my hips aren't so good any more so clutches are painful for me.
