I have noticed a lot of better 1/4 miles times for the 2013 2014 sho for the people that are using torries tune compared to Livernois tunes! Why is this I have 2014 sho with every option except lowering springs and pp my best time is 12.5 once but most of the time it's 12.6 -12.7? Seen a lot of Tories car running 12.1 and 12.2 that is Abigail difference wondering if anybody else with 2013 and 2014 sho with meth from Livernois is having this problem thanks!
If you kindly update your sig,or better yet create one, maybe we can assist you better.
I am having a meth kit installed soon, but in general there are so many variables at play in order to achieve great ET'S,proper AFR(air fuel ratio)knock readings, compression, detonation, also depending on mileage to check for carbon buildup, elevation, tires, boost pressure, the items mentioned alone will give you poor et's,always recommended new plugs gapped at 0.30 with a 160stat and if your running meth,a few runs on the dyno to monitor your cars output,in order to achieve the most from your car,so basically there are so many factors to take into consideration, one importanly is to have your car checked out, looked at.
That is weird, as I've ran a 12.54 on a LME 3bar tune and not much else.
Are you datalogging for tune updates?
Post up some time slips.
Rich
Just wondering if we tallied the performance of '13+ on meth vs. '10-12 on meth, whether the gains would be comparable or not, regardless of tuner.
It took a fair amount of data logging to get enough power on meth to hit the low 12's. (And technique)
There a plenty of lme cars hitting those similar or better numbers, however I think for the most part the cars were custom tuned on lme's dyno...basically the same thing as my data logging.
The Torries and lme's Canned tunes are safer... Got to have a good staring point then data log or dyno from there.
Lme patrons will surely chime in on this.
Those ^^^ were my thoughts (assumptions ).
I imagine technique comes into play much more once you get pass the basic mods. I can't wait!!!!!
Rich
i would like to to see all those 12.1's and 12'2's that you speak off. Cause I only know of 1 torrie tuned cars get those numbers.
I think personally just having Knock/Detonation issues alone will make your car suffer, octane ratings of fuel being used, ambient air conditions and engine inlet conditions affect maximum boost,so basically hot air and high cylinder pressures increases the tendency of an engine to knock, intercooler addresses this concern by cooling the compressed air produced by the turbocharger, when the engine is boosted,(AFR) readings alone are imortant factors to consider, especially if running Meth alone.

I know of two right now. Myself and Rich ( can't think of his user name). Both 13+ pp's.
temperature and elevation of the track is 2 first factor that make a good or bad Temp on track ( car with same mods)
Yep, need to see a LME and UT cars run at same track, on same night to get an idea on difference between tunes. Never will happen.

SHO convention....😁
No one mentioned traction, but when putting down 500+ ft lbs of torque, spinning can affect your 60ft. Which affects your 1/4 mile time.
how much time each tuner has into each car can be big.
Yea but, trap speed read the real hp

I was actually tuned with LME , now I'm tuned with unleashed tuning . After all the data logging is all set and done,I Will run at local track to compare times .
