What if any changes were made were any corrections made anywhere?
If anything maybe a few tsb's. Such as the fuel line issue some of the 13s had. Other than that the only difference was when the 15 was released it has more features/options to chose from (that you used to only be able to get with the Limited) such as heated steering wheel.

I believe the door handles were changed from chrome to same color as vehicle.
While we are on the subject. Do the x sports have the ptu cooler?
Heated Steering Wheel optional on 2015 finally. Still no HIDs on the Sport, only Limited.
The 2016 refresh now has LED head lights and other cool stuff.
Yep, they have the ptu cooler. They do not have the park or lane assist however. Nor do they have auto wipers.

I was just looking at the 2016 Sport. Looks cool. But I think they could of done a little more to seperate it from the other models.
Yea no reason for the sport option on the 16 imo it's like paying for the blacked out look, explorer badge and that's about it. Essentially all they've done is taken all of the options of the limited and combined it with the sport, upgraded the interior materials and produced the platinum version. I know that even on the 2015 Sport the door handles are not body colored on the white platinum (or at least I have never seen them, only on the black) Also Sinister is correct, I had listed a few features that are not available, I accidentally listed options that I had in my Limited.

Ours has the lane asist.
Are you sure it's lane assist and not blis? Ours is loaded and lane assist was not an option.
I just optioned one out on fords website and lane assist was not an option

You're right, it is BLIS. I guess I thought it was the same thing. What's the difference?
Blis is the blind spot and cross traffic stuff. Lane assist will track your lane and nudge the wheel if you start to drift. I believe that's what it does anyway.

Yes that is exactly what it does. It also tells you if you need to rest and displays a little coffee cup. It's actually quite annoying if you are driving through a very windy stretch of road so it really is one of those features you enable only when you really need it
so basically the limited is better than the sport???
Limited gets Active Park Assist, Lane departure warning, and HIDs. These aren't available on a 2015 or lower Explorer Sport.
The 2016 should change all of this.

We actually found out from FMC that there are different drivetrain combos for 15 VS 13-14. And this is a giant reason why you do not have much if any support (other than us) for the 2015 MY XSport.
The 16 sport cluster looks very different from the 14-15 so does the steering wheel
Because the 16 is a model year refresh

Sweet... I wish my SHO had this, or at least something to indicate which tire is low rather than just a generic low tire warning.
Also the brakes are way different than my 2011. The look like the SHO brakes. Pedal feel is crazy, just sneeze on the pedal and it wants to stop. I have a 2016 rental right now.

Hmm, I wonder if JMR can light that up....
I wish the dealer would've gave me a heads up on the 16 coming out b4 I commited to 15...Bastids
I have had my 15 XSport for 2 weeks now. I really looked at both the '16 and '15. I liked the body of the '15. Then when you throw the 0% AND $1k rebate....it was kind of hard to pass up.
Mine is peppy, but sometimes feel there is more room on the table. But trying not to pull the trigger on a tune....yet
Mine has everything from what it looks like and I will probably never use the heated steering wheel. The side mirrors are taking some getting used to as my Fusion and Mustang had the small corner mirror and now the XSport has a light there.
12 speaker stereo is ok, but that is the first that is going to be upgraded. The volume is very low compared to my Fusion with the 12 speaker setup. Going to replace the speakers and sub and add a few amps between the AMP/DSP and speakers.
Keep us in mind when / if you do decide to pull the trigger on that tune. We would be glad to help share that ear to ear grin people get when driving the Explorer SPorts with our tune and other bolt ons as well.
On another not we do also now have tuning available for the 2016 Explorer Sport. The 2016 dyno chart below shows it made 334 wheel HP and 372 wheel TQ. Peak gains are 59 whp / 82 wtq and down low around 3,000 RPM it made max gains of over 93ft lbs tq which is phenomenal for just a tune on 93 octane.

I also prefer the design of the outgoing body style compared to the new body style. The only thing I like better about the new model is the actual vents in the front fender
