I will be running the factory or PI steel wheels this winter with my snow tires and I'm missing the hub caps. I'm not a big fan of those chrome caps on PI vehicles either, and the fact they cost like $45 a piece steers me further away from buying them. When I mount them without the hub caps, this will leave the hub area exposed and prone to salt, water, and dirt, which will lead to corrosion. To give you an example, the picture below. So, I wanted to see if anyone knows of a good way to protect the center hole on the wheel to prevent the hub from being exposed and corrode? Would the hub covers from earlier models fit this wheel, PI hub caps or others, as Long as they don't cost an arm and a leg?

The covers are 31,44 from tasca and you can actually paint them if you want. I have seen them painted black
