Ford Racing was testing some mods on their EcoBoost Mustang at Milan Dragway...

That EB mustang pulling off 12's is impressive. Imagine if they would of used the 3.5 EB!!!

It would perform too close to or beat the NA 5.0

When you have 3 different levels of performance they all need to stand on their own and not compete with each other.

What I don't get is why everyone is saying how cool it would be if ford put a 3.5 EB in a mustang. How about a 5.0 with rear drive in an SHO? I know that's a stretch but one could dream.

I'm interested in the Heavy Duty Half Shafts & other drive train offerings on the EB model.....

Would be the proverbial icing on the cake for a 3.5L EB.

Well if the new sho gets the 2.3 at least it will have some aftermarket support by ford.

.... Real decorating would be a heavier duty trans, PTU, and rear drive unit to go with beefed up half shafts.
