Title: Exhaust Rattle
Post by: jtoddk98 on September 14, 2014, 09:27:57 PM
Hey. Noticed this today, my car makes a short rattle on a cold start and when revving the engine when at normal operating temp. Comes from te front of car. Catalytic converter maybe? Here's a video.

Could be that you may need new gaskets that connect to converters to exhaust and make sure also the bolts are tight, loose connection can cause the rattle or a heat shield?

No clue. The exhaust is all stock still and the car only has 45k on it. Hoping the warranty will cover it if I take it in

Brand of oil/filter?  Doesn't sound like that type of rattle tho.

Good idea!  Sometimes the bellypan does not get reinstalled correctly or a push pin falls out.
