Purchased the Edge 83830 onboard monitor, cool thing it plugs in your odb port 2 and monitors your vehicles performence statistics, such as boost psi,iat temp,o-60,1/4 times etc, only thing i need to order a longer extension and do a little fabrication so i can install in the head rest by the glass holder comartment, fits perfect inside,i can open it and close it and most importanly.dont have to leave it by the windshield for various reasons.
Pics of it in action :) Can it use a wireless connection or only wired? How many parameters can you monitor?
Just received it yesterday, the Edge 83830 is a wired monitor which plugs in directly into your obd 2 port,i believe it can monitor up to 8 parimeters in your vehicle, such as boost psi,iat temp, engine and tranny temp, battery charge, gas mileage,o-60,1/4 mile, basically i am trying to facbricate the wiring neatly,so you dont see any, just like my radar,i will keep you posted on the setup, also need to order a longer extension.also i am trying to install it in the eyeglass compartment by the sunroof, lol

Speed (Torque refresh rate is atrocious)
Screen (glare, reflections off windshield, day brightness)
Accuracy of gauges
Whether or not it has the Ford extended pid set
Can it do custom pids like Torque?
Number of gauges available on screen at once.
