Title: Hesitation, rough idle after loading V8
Post by: Courier6 on June 28, 2014, 05:34:44 PM
I installed the 3 BAR map, loaded the V8 tune, experiencing very rough idle and lots of hesitation when driving. Any ideas?

There's 2 map sensors which one did you swap the 3 bar in for?

Under the engine cover on top of the intake, getting codes P0300 and P0316.

Tried reloading seems even worse.

Can someone give me the part number for the 3 BAR?

I'm going to try returning to stock and see what happens. Does any one know if I need to put the 2 bar back in in order to return to stock?

Both are misfire codes. Is your V8 tune calibrated for the bar3 MAP?

I sure hope so, I've been running the My-Cal 4+ for the 2013, they sent the me the V8 matched to the serial number on the My-Cal.

Put 2 BAR back in, cleared DTC B1215, installed stock tune, runs perfect.

Update; loaded V8 tune with 2 BAR map still installed, runs perfect, never been able to hear BOV anything close to the way I can hear it now.

Anthony's instructions were the install 3 BAR and load tune, obviously the tune he sent me is for the 2 BAR map.

The tune must be calibrated for bar 3 MAP sensor. Without tuning for a bar 3 MAP sensor will make your car run like crap. Please follow up with LMS and get the appropriate tune used with bar 3 MAP.

You are correct crash, I updated my last post, I was obviously sent the V8 2 BAR tune. The good news is the car runs great! I thought I was hearing something with the windows up so I rolled them down and was amazed how well I could hear the BOV compared to the 4+ 2013 tune.
