Title: AIRAID CLEANING
Post by: ZSHO on June 05, 2014, 08:25:40 AM
Finally got a chance to clean the airaid filter, outside it did not look bad,its been about 8 months, got a large bucket of water and prior to that sprayed some filter cleaner and the soaked in water, could not believe it was all brown, changed water again and let air dry for 24 hrs,dry filters are easy peasy and ordered a airaid pre filter for assurance.

the pre filter is key, really helpful keeping the filter clean. got mine over a year ago and cleaned pre filter several time, filter itself still looks brand new.but will clean this summer. if airaid had only figured out a way not to cover up the tranny stick would have been better.

Yeah, that filter enclosure is kind of a pain in the ass to wrestle in and out of there.
