I recently installed my updated tune and 3 bar sensor. The car feels more gooderer, more stronger, more faster, more quicker. I used my Dash command app to check before and after.
Here is before.

And here is after:

Can the 3 bar by allowing extended boost improve time this much? This is almost .3 quicker in 0-60, and almost .3 faster in the 1/4. I know these OBD readers are just a reference but man! Will do more testing. Possibly track tomorrow to do real test.
Also, I noticed the car already has 2 other 3 bar sensors installed. Why?
I assume these are back-to-back runs, the only change being the MAPs? You let up before the 100 mph mark on the 3bar run? What adapter are you running for your OBD data gathering?
From talking with a tuner the answer is yes. It can make adjustments for the higher boost that is being made and now being read.
I'm using the ELM 327 adapter. Mated to an iphone. The runs were NOT back to back, but under similar driving and road conditions.
As for letting up, I let up early on the before run. I have a couple other slips that show my time for 1/4 at I think 12.8 and 106 mph. The after I thought I stayed on it the whole time. Though the 1/4 times are similar, seems the car slower to 100 mph. But maybe thats me backing off.
You definitely need to go to the track and see how it runs. The total 1/4 was within a .10 and the same mph.
Another local track having street drags this Saturday. So may go there instead or in addition to Irwindale.
