I just wanted to see if anyone else is running these tires and what you think? Every time I go to the track I spin a great amount in first and spin some in 2nd with some wheel hop. The reviews online are pretty good but I wanted to see if anyone here has had experience with these?
Thanks!
My SHO came stock with them and I did not like them .
I thought they hydroplaned way to easy and lacked in road feel , not sticky to the road at all for aggressive driving .

Yeah I'm looking at switching them out because no matter if I'm at the track or street it spins first and 2nd gear.
Have them, and hate them.
My SHO also had them stock. They only lasted about 26,000 miles until Michelin replaced 3 under warranty for ozone cracking

They came stock on mine I dont mind them but there super expensive. There very bad in winter i found. and i have experienced the hydroplaning a bit. ive been looking at the Yokohama Parada Spec-X or the Nitto Motivo's. Many charger/300c people like them alot and there 2/3rds the price.
Unfortunately when I bought the car they were new tires and it's hard to justify spending 800 dollars on new tires right now.
A lot of folks swear by the Continental DWS tire. I purchased a set of Pirelli Cinturato P7's and I like them a lot but I don't track my car so I'm not sure the Pirelli's are right for you. The DWS may be a better choice.

Yeah I'll have to check those out. I think I'm just going to wait until these are almost done for and just buy new rims and tires at once. ;D
I'm at about 23k and I'm having no wheelspin issues. They are wearing well and I prefer them to the dws on the ST. We had an atrocious winter and they never let me down. Best oem tire on any car I've purchased.
Go with the P7s. They have awesome reviews on Tire rack. I had the DWSs on my Sonata Turbo and did good, but didn't think braking was that great.
Anyone ran the P7s in the snow?
after these stock mxv4 are done im gonna try the super sports. I like these tires i found there not to great in snow but everything else is great. long tread life.
I am 1,000 miles in on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3. Tons of grip for a ultra high performance. Love them but they are pricey and hard to find.
I have them (came with car). My only complaint is they squeal during hard corning. They were fine in Michigan's worst winter in 80 years.
I won't buy them again though. I am sure there are better options.

If you're talking about the Pilot Super Sports you probably shouldn't be driving them at all in the winter months as they are strictly a summer tire. They are excellent summer tires, but definitely not something you want to drive in cold weather or snow.
I originally had MXV4's. Lasted about 50K and probably could've gone longer, but they were getting noisy and started riding rough. Replaced them with the option F1 supercars, as the price was unbeatable. They have about 27K miles on them and have atleast 5/32nds of tread left. No complaints with them. I have never been able to spin either tire from a stop or when shifting into 2nd. Even in rain traction has been excellent with both tires.
On my Shelby I have the AS3's. They are very good. I've gone several 1.8xx 60fts with them. But they are pricey.
I've had good luck with nitto's on my stang. These stock Michelin's really cry on hard turns. Worried they wouldn't hold on a few turns.
Sent using smoke signals.
Thanks everyone!! Great info!
