I thought it might be cool to see how many of each color we have. I hope I got them all. Please comment on your color if you wish!
I'll start. I have White Platinum. I really didn't have any choice but it was a top pick for me. Our family has a lot of white vehicles. When I was younger, I used to hate white. I think I like it fine now.
Honestly I wish i had gotten anything other than black.
Thinking about wrapping in a B&W moire'
Gotta love that Storm Trooper look ;D
When I was a kid I said I'd never own a white car. My first car, WHITE Mustang LX. After that Dark Blue, Opalescent Clear coat (basically pearl white), Black, Black, and now my SHO...Tuxedo Black. I'm not crazy about the black, but when you buy used you get what you get. I got a great car at a great price so I can't complain too much. Given its a 2010, Cinnamon would have cool due to its very limited production. If I were to get a new one, Dark Side or White Platinum for sure.
I wonder how yellow would look???

This is a cool thread, thanks Dave! I was really tore between the Tri-Platinum White and the Candy Red Metallic before I saw either in person. When I started shopping I stumbled on a Steel Blue and really fell in love with that color, but the dealer that had it wouldn't come off their first price, whereas the dealer with my red car really sweetened the deal to the point I couldn't pass it up. Getting the red instead of the Steel Blue ended up saving me almost $2500.00 dollars.
Both of mine are tuxedo black. It sucks to keep clean, but when it is it looks amazing. I also love white cars.

My MKS is the platinum white. i really wanted the Ignot silver color, with white or black being my second choice. the 2010-12 MKS looks stunning in silver IMO! it looks more expensive in that shade to me. But, i couldn't pass up the deal on my used white MKS. the Lexus dealer that was selling it had it on their lot for like 3 months, i had been watching and knew they would be somewhat desperate to unload it, so i took advantage. i couldn't find a silver MKS-EB with the 11 spoke 20in wheels in my area and would have ended up spending close to $6K more (going off of list price) for the nearest to me. i didn't think that was worth it, but got to admit whenever i see a silver MKS (i've seen two all of a sudden when before i didn't see any) my heart drops a little, LOL...
White Platinum here as well. I have never been a real fan of white vehicles but this one is growing on me. I got such a good deal on it I had to buy it.
I had the same feelings as mjhpadi. I couldn't decide between the white platinum and the red candy - loved them both. I was ordering the car and the white platinum was around $200 more than the red candy so that was the final deciding factor. However, my next car will be white platinum or whatever color is similar to it at the time of my purchase.

Steel blue here. Had been looking for white or silver, saw steel blue and thought it was the most beautiful car color I had seen in a long time. Great thread and poll!
I have owned 18 vehicles in my life, 15 black, 2 blue and one red. The SHO is Tuxedo Black :)
Future SHO owner here.... any Deep Impact Blues? I haven't seen this color in person yet on a SHO. There are only a couple nation wide for sale (2013 used). Every picture of it looks a little different depending on light. Can look almost purple, dark blue, or light blue. Wondering if an owner would get it again.

Ya that Kona Blue is rare, and actually, historic due to the nature of events around its' availability.

Yes I heard that the 2010 colors were not available for 2011 because of a typhoon over sea. So the Kona Blue was use only in 2011 because of cost. I (paint) have a account at Sherwin Williams retail paint #L6(Kona Blue) is $104 qt $50 for me. It's blue metal fakes & pearl mix.
Interesting thread... so far platinum white seems most common.... Anyone else?

I was sure there were more Tuxedo SHOs. Maybe I was wrong?
Actually me too... but I figured tux and Platinum for the top 2... guess we're just common folks! LOL
2013 Ingot Silver. Not really a silver fan, but it works well with the 13 SHO wheels (black/silver) and more blacked out body cladding. I want the emerald green myself. Anyone want to trade? I just turned 10k miles. :)
I like the silver Jeff. But, I only have 7500 miles.
White Platinum! Gives it a classy feel in my eyes
I actually wanted blue
I went with Ingot Silver but then I only had what, four to choose from :-[ Of course you guys didn't really ask about E Sports in this thread. I feel like the out of shape slow fat kid being last one picked to play :cry1:
Sorry guys, I should have included everybody. I have a one track mind. It's a wonder I even included MKS's! :clown:
does anyone know the paint code for the white platinum for the 2010 MKS?

It should be on the door plate driver's side i think.
THANKS, i'll check...
According to Dr Colorchip:
2010 Lincoln MKS
Color Code Color Name Tricolor
HT Cinnamon Pearl
UH Tuxedo Black Metallic
UX Ingot Silver Metallic
U6 Red Candy Metallic
UG White Platinum Tricoat Y
UL/M7212A Atlantis Green Metallic
UN/M7227A Steel Blue Metallic
UP/M7225A Gold Leaf Metallic
WS/M7193A White Suede
i think mine is 'white suede' and not white platinum like i initially thought...
I don't believe either the SHO or the MKS was available in White Suede with an Ecoboost.

when i googled my VIN #, my car's fact sheet/window sticker came up from http://fordlabels.webview.biz (http://fordlabels.webview.biz), and it showed the exterior color as White Suede.
everything else matched up including interior color, what equipment it has etc. so i assume its correct. i looked for it on the driver's side door sticker but didn't find anything about the color code...
