Why don't you install the map sensor (10 seconds) and then the tune and drive it, then when the other parts come in you can truly appreciate the differences.

looking for a different option ... we know that the Steeda one fits . I think I'll get one and drill and tap it for the fittings.
I'm going for a clean install and the 13 OEM BOV's will be removed ( no vacuum lines to them ) and replaced with a Tial BOV & 4DR's Hot Pipe Kit . I will I also install a Boost guage in the center pod console I got from Crash712us , this will give me two vacuum ports to use .
I finally got around to ordering Guages for the POD I bought from Crash712us.

Also, we'd appreciate hearing about anything you notice about your hotpipe fitment when you install ............since the horizontal part of the IC to TB will effectively be longer by the width of the spacer slightly displacing the lower end (that connects to the IC outlet) laterally and forward. Thanks in advance again.

The sizes and numbers are shown in the image within this post for you. Here's Mike's post on how he orders them: http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?topic=2248.msg33401#msg33401 (http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?topic=2248.msg33401#msg33401)
The ones you found are pretty but...
Personally I love the stainless clamps that Mike includes with the kit now beyond appearance as they are better made for hose clamps. The hinges and lack of full circumferential contact from the start of tightening on the ones pictured in red are an engineering weakness as are the oval cutouts.... just take them and paint them red or blue, etc. if you want.... or get custom made for your preferences if you want them.... or have a different scheme.
Solid performance and a balance between cost effectiveness and appearance were clearly the goals the goals of the hotpipe kit. The explanation of engineering weakness is related to the application, not the clamp inherently. My concern is a hose clamp that doesn't completely and "equally" compress the entire circumference of a connection of a hose between two hard surfaces especially considering the large anterior and posterior motion of our engines. The hump hoses are designed to compensate for this and so will be stressed every time we accelerate and then let off throttle. By completely encompassing and contacting the circumference of the hose and pipe from the start of tightening (as the current clamps do) the pressure is about equal on the entire circumference of the hose and pipe. The amount of force that can be applied to the entire circumference is also limited in the ones pictured in red for the reasons above and will be unequal or even zero at the open screw tightener side.... i.e.. When the ends of the clamp don't come together and so pinch the hose on the screw side as they are approximated, a whole new set of seal and hose weakness problems arise. The object of the kit is no boost leaks (including hose failure) and the clamps 4DR chose avoid these problems... real or hypothetical. Just my 2 cents. :beer2: So keep on modding!

You guys are welcome to customize your kits however you want but I can't increase the price of the kit any more, it's already expensive in my opinion. the clamps I include work very well and are cost effective, great combination. :)

I decided to order these for the HotPipe kit today .
I ordered 2 2 1/2" and 2 3" clamps to replace the top " most " visible ones .
If you look closely at the inner area of these clamps there is a lip that fully covers the circumference around the silicone tubing when tightened.

Even though I have the RX evacuation catch can and clean side system patiently waiting in the garage , install is on hold until my RED Carbon Fiber Hydrodipped with Raised SHO / ecoboost lettering done in gloss black returns from PCP .
I will have to figure out an alternative mounting location due to the Tial BOV location on the HotPipe kit and do not want to start because I need to figure out possible clearance issues with cover back on .
Hopefully the cover comes back soon, so progress can resume! The clamp ends do seem to have a "friction" fit, should be enough in theory.

Hoping the engine cover is going to be finished soon as well .... it's taking longer for PCP to get it done than I had anticipated .
On a plus note though I got an email from Billet Badges letting me know my engine cover Badge is going in production , it's a beauty !
