My SHO will be home from the body Shop the end of this month Recovering from the Keying Incident along with my Interceptor Bumper ( on hold ) MOD.

MY Power MODS installations  will Start then ....

Some Folks just Map the way to where they want to end up differently .

MY first Mod was the Corsa exhaust then AirAid then the BIG one .... TCE/Wilwood Brakes .

Last Night Power Mods Begun .... PPE catless DownPipes  , SCT iTSX tuner and tunes from Torrie  and Ecoboost Performance Parts  HotPipes with Tial BOV  ; they have been ordered and are on the way .

I  also ordered a set  ( and 2 spares ) of  NGK IRIDIUM IX Spark Plugs LTR7IX-11 # 6510  and a 3 Bar MAP sensor .

NO  METH  ..... 91  &  93  tunes and  I will have a Track Tune ( or the street on occasion ) for 100 octane . I only live about 10 miles from a strip and race fuel .

This Summer ATP Turbo's   and anxiously awaiting the DeatschWerks GDI injectors and Modded fuel pumps.

Why don't you install the map sensor (10 seconds) and then the tune and drive it, then when the other parts come in you can truly appreciate the differences.

Picked my SHO up from the boy shop this morning .... GOOD as New , maybe a little better !

Had to Hold off on Interceptor Bumper Mod  ... I had them paint the blue one I got  to match .
I need to get a few more underlying parts to make this work.

Changed the Oil and filter to get things off to a good Start .. VALVOLINE SynPower full Synthetic 5w30 & Fram Ultra Guard Oil Filter .
I've been using this since it was new .

Hooked up the iTSX bluetooth dongle to get build data and then sent info of to Torrie at Unleashed to build my tunes .

Installing NGK iridium plugs this evening .

Last night I installed the  3 bar Map and the 170 t-stat .

A few hours ago I loaded up Torries 91 tune for the combo and refilled the coolant and ran it around the block a few time babying it to burp it 3 times and topped it off..

I LOVE this ecobeast even more now  ! Night and day difference in power ... Kinda  like having a NEW TOY !!

I need to get a few more underlying parts to make this work.  More $$$

While it was at the body shop I got side tracked and started ordering go-fast goodies and that BUG bit me HARD ! !

A few more month's till the bumper mod is done ....

Kevin... Your hotpipes left Albequerque at 9:12am this morning... With any luck you might get them tomorrow. If they get my connection fixed today I'll be back online and get the install pics posted... Plan on working above and below, but you won't need a lift.

edit    NO GO   ! Bolt hole spacing off just  a hair   ..

looking for a different option ... we know that the Steeda one fits    . I think I'll get one and drill and tap it for the fittings.

I'm going for a clean install and the 13 OEM BOV's will be removed  ( no vacuum lines to them ) and replaced with a Tial  BOV & 4DR's Hot Pipe  Kit . I will I also install a Boost guage in the center pod console I got from Crash712us  , this will give me two vacuum ports to use .

I finally got around to ordering Guages  for the POD I bought from Crash712us.

Auto Meter 2 1/16"  Electrical Analog  --   Water Temp , Transmission Temp  &  Boost  0 -30 psi.   All with Black Bezels and Faceplates and will be modified to have blue illumination .

crash712us  custom center gauge pod

I like the Aeroforce Interceptor but I decided on these because I don't want the OBDII to be dedicated to guages .

I want to leave my MX bluetooth OBDII adapter plugged in for Torque Pro .

The small short front turbo to IC inlet pipe was left black because you really can't see it any way .

Please let us all know if it fits and/or about any adjustments you have to make on the spacer.... TIA
Also, we'd appreciate hearing about anything you notice about your hotpipe fitment when you install ............since the horizontal part of the IC to TB will effectively be longer by the width of the spacer slightly displacing the lower end (that connects to the IC outlet) laterally and forward.  Thanks in advance again.

Hope to get these for the  HotPipe kit

These are Proflow 150 silicon hose clamps
The clamps I have found are only available in Australia and are made there.
This website sells these and ships to the US and they take PayPal.

I'll be ordering these hopefully , if 4DR says they will fit ....

The sizes and numbers are shown in the image within this post for you. Here's Mike's post on how he orders them: http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?topic=2248.msg33401#msg33401 (http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?topic=2248.msg33401#msg33401)

The ones you found are pretty but...
Personally I love the stainless clamps that Mike includes with the kit now beyond appearance as they are better made for hose clamps. The hinges and lack of full circumferential contact from the start of tightening on the ones pictured in red are an engineering weakness as are the oval cutouts.... just take them and paint them red or blue, etc. if you want.... or get custom made for your preferences if you want them.... or have a different scheme.

Solid performance and a balance between cost effectiveness and appearance were clearly the goals the goals of the hotpipe kit. The explanation of engineering weakness is related to the application, not the clamp inherently. My concern is a hose clamp that doesn't completely and "equally" compress the entire circumference of a connection of a hose between two hard surfaces especially considering the large anterior and posterior motion of our engines. The hump hoses are designed to compensate for this and so will be stressed every time we accelerate and then let off throttle. By completely encompassing and contacting the circumference of the hose and pipe from the start of tightening (as the current clamps do) the pressure is about equal on the entire circumference of the hose and pipe. The amount of force that can be applied to the entire circumference is also limited in the ones pictured in red for the reasons above and will be unequal or even zero at the open screw tightener side.... i.e.. When the ends of the clamp don't come together and so pinch the hose on the screw side as they are approximated, a whole new set of seal and hose weakness problems arise. The object of the kit is no boost leaks (including hose failure) and the clamps 4DR chose avoid these problems... real or hypothetical. Just my 2 cents.  :beer2:  So keep on modding!

You guys are welcome to customize your kits however you want but I can't increase the price of the kit any more, it's already expensive in my opinion. the clamps I include work very well and are cost effective, great combination. :)

I decided to order these for the  HotPipe kit today .
I ordered 2   2 1/2" and  2  3" clamps to replace the top " most " visible ones .
If you look closely at the inner area of these clamps there is a lip that fully covers  the circumference around the silicone tubing when tightened.

These are Proflow 150 silicon hose clamps .
The clamps I have found are only available in Australia and are made there.
This website sells these and ships to the US and they take PayPal.

YES ... this a little  " bling " mod .
(http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a628/kbeck59/redclamp_zps42c5f160.jpg) (http://s1287.photobucket.com/user/kbeck59/media/redclamp_zps42c5f160.jpg.html)

Even though I have the RX evacuation catch can and clean side system patiently waiting in the garage , install is on hold until my RED Carbon Fiber Hydrodipped with Raised SHO / ecoboost lettering done in gloss black returns from PCP .

I will have to figure out an alternative mounting location due to the Tial BOV location on the HotPipe kit and do not want to start because I need to figure out possible clearance issues with cover back on .

Hopefully the cover comes back soon, so progress can resume!  The clamp ends do seem to have a "friction" fit, should be enough in theory.

Hoping the engine cover is going to be finished soon as well  .... it's  taking longer for PCP to get it done than I had anticipated .

On a plus note though I got an email from Billet Badges letting me know my engine cover Badge is going in production  , it's a beauty !
