Title: tpms
Post by: black99lightning on January 11, 2014, 11:43:43 AM
What style TPMS sensors do we have?  I know when I swapped rims on my GT500 it had the bands with the sensors that clipped on to them.  Are ours built onto the valve stem?

I just bought one of these and it's working fine.  (stem type)

If I understand correctly, some early 2010's had the banded type.  I'm not sure when they switched over to this.

Thanks.  If I change rims I should be able to resuse the factory TPMS.

Yeah, I reused mine.  DTD has the option of stems or TPMS rebuild kits.  The kits are just stems with the right adapter on them.  They are only $3 a piece and it's like having new stems.  If you use DTD I'd get them.
