Just received my Guage POD from the infamous member crash712us .
I am considering Auto Meter C2 Analog Gauges .. white face with black numbers and blue led backlighting .
Questions ... Pyrometer 0-1600 or 0-2000 ... Boost 0-60 .... Oil Pressure 0-100 . All should be electrical ?
I want to do this before my first major ENGINE/TUNE Mod which will be a Stainless Works Thermal Coated Catted Down Pipe Set at $1240.00 . I already have the Corsa catback stainless exhaust setup . After this I will do the Livernois tune .. not sure how far though ?!?!
I received my gauge pod a few days ago and I must say it looks great. it'll be a little while before I can buy the gauges but I was going to go with the Ford Racing gauges: Vac/Boost, Oil Pressure, & Water Temp.
Kevin Autometer site will tell you what gauges are electrical some series offer both electric and mechanical.

I am personal fan of these gauges also don't forget fellas Autometers custom shop I have designed gauges for both 2013 and newer and 2010-12 if either of you fellas are interested I can forward it to you thru Autometers site.
I guess what I meant is that I should be using electrical not mechanical , and what TEMP RANGE FOR THE PYROMETER ?
0-2000 with turbo's they fan that flame even hotter. Here is a pic of gauges I have customized on Autometer site unfortunately they don't offer a 2000 degree pyrometer in there custom shop. But as BDP is the only one I know of having a pyrometer I'd wait for him to chime in on.

Interesting idea.
Yes I agree, there a few companies out there. That produce aviation style gauges for cars.
