Title: 12.2's all night long
Post by: steve142857 on September 17, 2013, 10:50:44 PM
Hey guys!
Just got back from the track...
I can't wait to have the new tune from Livernois.
I ran a dozen runs between 12.22 and 12.31 at around 115 mph...
There was no wind at all, it was cold and humid (70% humidity and weather in the 50's).
Videos to come (one against E63 AMG, very close race!)...

Ha Steve what MOD's do have on the 2013 now. And what MOD's did you have on your 2010 when you ran 12.09sec

I think he is currently Tune Only, stage 5 from Livernois.  Tune not yet tweaked for the '13s.  EDIT:  Steve has provided the correct specs in the next post :)

Here is a vid of his 12.1 sec run:

2010 SHO runs 12.1 at 116.5 (new world record) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6t4d3TN4H0#)

Mods at 0:13 mark.

I transferred my mods from the 2010 to the 2013. The difference is that the 2013 is PP and I added the catted downpipes from Livernois.
So: meth, airaid, exhaust with dynomax, 2.5" tubing, xpipe and downpipes, HR springs. I am still waiting for the tweaked tune from lms... Dan told me in May that this current tune is far to be as aggressive as stage 5 that I was running in the 2010.
So, I truly believe that my car should run 11.8's on a cool day with tailwind when I get the XV1 tune... No doubt!

Tell us more about the vinyl wrap on your 2010.  Looks great! Was it easy to have done?

The track is one of the only two NHRA regulated track in Quebec, Canada; it is called Napierville Dragway.
It is well maintained and often with a tailwind.
I post good times because I prioritize going to the travk if the weather and conditions are advantageous... I don't bother going often during summer... My car already endures enough with all the runs of spring and fall! Yesterday the DA was at -300! Hehehe, making some jaleous guys down in Georgia aren't I?

Nice times Steve, looks like your '13 is starting to get inline with your old SHO. Hopefully when they get the new tuning out you can hit your goals
