Title: Exhaust leak in LMS downpipes
Post by: hawkeye93 on March 03, 2018, 07:57:57 PM
I seem to have sprung a leak in my Livernois catted downpipes, right at the flex pipe.  I don't know if this is repairable.  Maybe it could be cut out and replaced with a longer flex pipe.  Anyone have any suggestions?

It's repairable. But the repair entails you purchasing a new set of flex pipes.

Removing old ones, reinstalling new replacements.

Any exhaust shop can do it for you.

Need a new one welded in. Bellows will last much longer, but dont flex as much, so youll feel the vibrations a little more

No warranty? Id call and inquire. I see a lot of companies that make exhaust components offer lifetime warranties...my stainless works pipes framed and they replaced them. But maybe livernois doesn't actually manufacture those pipes so not sure

American Racing Headers (ARH) mfrs my catless LMS downpipes. You Might give them a call to see what their warranty is all about.
