Wow wotta deal! Thanks for posting!
Daaaamn it! Anyone have any feedback on that tire? I had planned to run Firehawk Indy 500 summer tires in that size. But hard to pass up $95 instead of $170
Tire-rack wants over 2x as much for them. They have a nice video review of them next to other tires though. The video review was good compared to other tires in class.

Ugghhh You guys are costing me $!! It showed only 6 left, so I did not spend my usual time researching them as I knew they would be gone. Just pulled trigger on a full set of them. Simply cannot pass up that sort of tire for the $. MY 245/45's still have tread left, but the new wheels are begging for properly sized shoes.
I would've jumped all over this deal this morning if I didn't need to buy new wheels to fit properly :(
I saw this late last nite and posted. The other day they only had 2. I have been checking this daily for more stock to show up IF they were not just clearing out two tires.
They must have got more stock? I grabbed 4.
They might have more stock showing up so pin this somewhere and check back daily.
You cant beat $119 a tire installed. I have a local shop that does it for $70 with disposal.
On that link to purchase it was gonna send me to Sears for $80 I think which isnt too bad.

That is a steal for install price. Places out here are $100 higher than that. I have a hole in the wall place close that is cheap, but I am not trusting my wheels to them.
Its Reading Pa so. Not a high cost of living area.
$15 to vulcanize patch a tire. LOL

They showed me a place that was $19.9/tire but it was a good 45min drive north on a no traffic day.
FYI folks they are back to full stock, not saying anything about limited qty and the price is still $95. They are prime, but say in bold 2-3 days to ship. Mine are showing approx next Wed.

Incredible Pricing. Dont know why either unless they are clearing up excess stock.
I got an Full Injen 3" stainless exhaust for my Juke from Amazon. $100 shipped. They were just getting rid of them. Normally around $450.
These are decent tires and they should be a great ride on the SHO 20" flower wheels.

Probably overstocked, or they have a new version on the way, or maybe they have been sitting a while and trying to move them due to datecode?
I have 20X9.5 aftermarket wheels, so these will be perfect. Only thing I am "concerned" about is they are pretty hard @ 500AA rating

I have these in a 245/45 20 and the ride is firmer than I'm used to. I have a PP so I don't really want a firmer ride but the tire is over-all responsive with turn in, and grip is there when pushed in the corners. I have no idea what bad weather conditions are like since I try not to drive it in snow or rain.
My concern with these is if you're looking for a 40 series (like these listed) they would be too firm. Especially when they wear half way, you'd probably want to replace them early; which negates your savings and longevity.
They also want to "track" on concrete and follow the grooves which can get annoying. On asphalt they are great and really pretty quiet in general (no pun).
I'd go for the Indy's. I've heard great things about these and wish I'd gotten them. If you need all season though, maybe step up to a 45 series in these?

Next time you need tires, go with a 255/45/20 as that should help it ride a touch better.

I agree, the 255 was a welcome improvement over the wearing Michelin's that came on it. Much better ride and it's not a PP, you guys with a PP must feel like your rolling down the road in my leaf sprung one ton truck.

Mine does not feel like that. Least not anymore since I removed the H&R's and went back to stock springs.

Well, maybe I was being a fuzz dramatic.. I've really enjoyed driving this car. I hope she gets another.
All four shipped. We shall see if they are for real.
Not gonna install right away. I want to burn up the OEMs more and have super fresh new tires for the winter.
I've ordered tons of tires from amazon, from ATV and motorcycles, from cars to 35" mud tires, never had an issue.

Yeah mine shipped the day after order. Due in on Thurs. Not sure if I will wait to swap them or not. we shall see.
Wife and I drove a lot over the past week. I will say I will have these on in October. Lost more tire than I thought we would. Maybe 500 to 1000 more miles. Better to use up the old ones. 39k on the OEMs isnt terrible.
I got all 4 tires today. They look super. I hope they fit.
They are really wide as we knew they were. 11" inside to outside. :pat:
Inside bead is 8 3/4". That should not be a problem on the Flower rim.
The lower strut support is very close when you reach in and look at it. Nothing a small spacer cannot handle but people have said these will fit.
You are trying to mount them on flowers? I though min width for 275's was 9"? I hope it works for you.
Well this guy has em mounted on them as a few others in this forum.

You'll probably notice some odd wear by the time the tread starts getting low, but it shouldn't be horrible.
Mine landed just now.
Need another week to let suspension settle then take her in for alignment and tire swap.

275s should not be on a 8" wide wheel. I guarantee the manufacturer does not approve running a wheel that narrow on 275.

These are 275s so a 40 series is about the same sidewall as 245/45s.

I ran 275/45/20's on 20x8 rims for about 100k miles without issue. Should be more than fine IMO.

Yes. I had my '02 Explorer (hence my username) for 10 years and put 145,000 miles on it before I sold it to buy my MKS. That was two sets of Hankook Ventus ST RHO6 tires on 20x8.5 Boss 306 rims that I had powdercoated "Superchrome." I actually miss it a lot!
On the dyno: https://youtu.be/HkNC571IWtU
Edit- Realized I said 20x8 in the first post. Meant 20x8.5 which is obviously more forgiving.
Just an FYI in case people were curious, these are not "old stock". Not sure why they would have them on such a super sale, date codes on mine are all 1018 so made in March of this year.
Got two mounted. Yeah LOL. I gave him one so I could test fit these. Then My mechanic had to do something at the last minute so we only got two done. I scheduled an alignment for the SHO and an inspection for my other car on Tuesday so we are Gonna finish it all up then.
But here is a preview....... These Look Super Awesome.
You are gonna love the grip.
I hope I can find a deal as good as this one whenever I need to replace mine...

I didn't need to replace mine. I probably have thousands of miles till I hit wear bars. But I just HAD to snag them. Now I am having to tell myself, leave them alone, don't mount them till you need them. But when I walk in the garage the stack of them just screams at me!

I was soooo tempted to do that but I was afraid of getting a bad tire and then be stuck with it 18 months later.
All done. They look awesome and ride very well.
Very nice
Just realized I had not updated this thread. Rains finally came in and the tires on the car were a bit sketchy in wet, so I went for it and installed the 275s.
WOW, OMG, WOOOT!
I do not know how much traction I need, but I know how much I installed....
The car is just planted now. Even in rain i can stomp on it and the car just launches. Only time i have seen TC blink (for maybe 2 flashes on dash) was a wot launch while turning to get on road from a stop sign. Straight line, I have not been able to trigger TC.
They look good too!(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181025/2f4cb0954d00d9137d58c43adb043fd4.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181025/7033576057c8b069873ad95f7953aa4e.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181025/59824816aebf975252a87fb7445a2496.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181025/ec2b9ede9404aab39c6347555c9fa9b8.jpg)

2.5mos in since installing these steamrollers. still love them and would recommend to anyone wanting a decent all season performance tire.
I love my Continental DWS06 tires, but can see myself giving these a shot once it's time to replace. Biggest question would be how they handle the snow and the DWS06 do pretty darn good there.
I have them and they are just ok in the snow. I live near Vail, Co. They are a decent tire but I wouldn't expect them to last too long. Really good in rain. Quiet and compliant everywhere else. The continentals handled better but for the price the Generals are good.
Snow is like one day a year here, and given the steamroller size I have, I would not expect much out of them for snow. I have been very impressed with dry and wet traction.
