Post by: ZSHO on January 13, 2018, 06:23:54 PM
AMSOIL's New OE Synthetic Motor Oil Formulation
Released by Amsoil in December 2017.  Z

AMSOIL, a recognized leader in synthetic lubrication since 1972, has launched a new formulation of its OE Synthetic Motor Oil line to meet the emerging demands of advanced automotive technology. It is specifically designed to deliver maximum wear protection, fuel economy, and emissions control for the longer drain intervals recommended by original equipment (OE) manufacturers. Low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) is a common issue found in today's advanced engines and is much more destructive than typical pre-ignition. OE Synthetic Motor Oil achieved 100% protection against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) , and it provides 47%  more wear protection than required by the GM dexos 1® Gen 2 specification. AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oil has a 100% synthetic, pure chemical structure engineered to remove harmful contaminants and provide long-lasting engine protection and performance. It features an advanced detergent and dispersant additive package designed to protect against sludge and deposits to deliver maximum engine cleanliness. No one really, anymore :(  Kinda gone by the wayside.  If you are lucky enough to be in driving distance, they DO have regional warehouses you can pickup the products at and save shipping costs.

It's best to just buy a preferred customer membership...then you get 25% off everything which is basically wholesale price ...it basically pays for itself and now they made it so preferred customers get free shipping all the time when orders are 100$

Not to hijack the thread but for NOVA people there is Murphy's oil supply out of Alexandria (fairfax county) who you can get it from without shipping. He pays half the preferred member fee as well the first year.
