Title: Who am I?
Post by: EcoPowerParts on June 17, 2013, 06:05:41 PM
I don't want to hide behind my screen name so I thought I'd let everyone know a bit about myself.
I LOVE CARS, it's like crack to me and I will usually strive to be a leader in the platform I'm modifying.
I'm an IT guy, I work from home for a LARGE corporation doing network design work. I am not a web designer or a graphic artist though, my skills in that area are minimal at best. If something is wrong with the forum I can usually fix it and if not I will immediately engage professional services to help me make it work right.

My name is Mike B - my profile links right to my youtube and facebook personal account. Feel free to friend me and message me all you want. If you want my cell phone just shoot me an email, facebook meesage me or PM me.

Most of the time I'm online 12+ hours a day, the only time I'm not is if I'm away at a wrestling tournament running the bracketing software or taking pictures.

Why did I start this forum? I wanted to make sure that an unbiased, open to any vendor forum was available where all vendors were equal. Charging vendors right now while we're building the platform doesn't seem right in my opinion. I also don't need to take "premium" membership dues to support the forum, it's about $100 a year to provide hosting and domain names, I'll happily provide that to further the platform.

Thanks!
Mike

Glad to know.  I have a son who has had his own computer business for 15 years. Does repair & custom builds, plus networking, pad and cell phone repair for small companies, businesses and individuals. Second son is a Graphic Artist who works at Standard Golf Co, and can do just about anything on a Mac.  Together they created our website for ShorewoodApts.com  . I especially liked the u-tube video they created.

Think lots of us would enjoy knowing what our careers and hobbies are.

I forgot to say what I do... At my age being forgetful is a full time job... Oh yes...

I am an indigent retired fella....LOL

We live on Clear Lake, IA in the summer and in Naples, FL in the winter.  I actually pay the bills at our Loves Park, ILL Apt. Complex from wherever I am. Seems like a full time job.

I have always loved cars and started Drag Racing at an early age... 64!

Have had Vettes, SHO's (4 from 89'-93') Caddies, exotics etc.  We feel our Flex is the most over-achieving vehicle we have ever owned.  Yes, I've had other vehicles that can be more fun for a moment, but if I could only have one vehicle, it would be an EB Flex. It has the best 6 passenger layout found today.  Of course I have made a few "minor" cosmetic and mechanical changes to the exterior, engine, exhaust, suspension, wheels and tires!

EcoBrick Bob, I see you spend part of the year in Clear Lake.  Is there any place around the Clear Lake/Mason City area to get 93 octane fuel?  I am originally from Indianola, Iowa and now live in the Minneapolis area.  When I go to Iowa to visit family, I would prefer to keep my 93 octane tune!

I currently have an MKS ecoboost.  I have always been a Ford guy, everything from Mustang GTs to T'Bird SuperCoupes to Lincolns.  I have been in the marketing department of a major bank for the past 20 years but I have always been a gear head.  Prior to my current "white collar" job, I was a tech at a Ford dealership.  I still do all of my own maintenance and try to stay up to speed on most things mechanical.

I am enjoying this forum.  However, I almost need an assistant to help me keep track of all the forums that I like to review!

Yes.  Murphy (Walmart) in Mason City sells it.  Last year it was 20 cents more than 89, but with the big run up in prices this spring, it has been as high as 80 cents more.  This makes me afraid of it as it still contains alcohol, and if not sold in enough quantity, it will be stale, and you really don't know what you are getting.  So.. I have been running 91 from same station, at only 10 cents more than 89.  Murphy is all gasohol.  Those Iowa stations running 87 have it w/o ethanol, and it is priced 10 cents to 20 cents higher than 89 E-10, that everyone carries.  Iowa stations are unique, in that there is no 87 E-10 that I am aware of.

Also, Murphy at Walmart in Cedar Falls, IA has 89 and 93 (no 91) and there are Kwik Trips in some areas of IA that have 92 at fair pricing.

Mike, I'm jealous that you get to work from home.  I have been throwing the idea around of going back to school for something in the IT field.  There was a company posting on our local job boards that 95% of the time a person could work from home and that was what got me thinking about going back and trying something different.  Currently I do compliance for a property management company and I own a painting business that supports my modding disease.

Hey..my name is Darrell and I'm a career firefighter in southeastern Michigan. Last few vehicles have been fairly quick..I've always been a car guy..my dad is as well and so is my brother, so it kinda runs in the family.

The first ecoboost ride I purchased was actually a flex. I liked it alot so I sold my Lightning to buy a SHO. Started trying to see the limits an the capabilities of the platform so here I am now. I actually thought about selling my car over the winter because I've pretty much maxed things out and the market has really caught on like I originally thought. Looks like that may be changing so I'm gonna hold out a little longer. Just installed a torque convertor that I'm testing out for Circle D but haven't really been able to drive it yet. I'll post a review as soon as I can.

Oh yeah..we were talking about who we are..I'm a dad, husband...my schedule allows me to be home alot of days (since I work 24hrs at a time) so I get to see most of my kids stuff.

I was born in Waterloo, IA, and adopted by two great parents.  They told me later that I was a replacement for their dog "Spike"..  Since they only had one dog, I never had any brothers an sisters! I was raised in Farmersburg, IA.. about 14 mi from Prarrie Du Chien, WI.  When I was present, there were 247 other townies. My dad was a bridge and culvert contractor, with many employees, so we always had nice cars. I thought I was going to be driving his business car, a 1961 Pontiac Ventura, but just before my 16th birthday, he took me to a local Ford dealer and had me pick out my own.  Ended up ordering a 1962 Galaxie 500 Coupe.  He restricted me to a 352 auto, which my friends and I found out was faster in second than in third.  It needed a valve job at 18,000 mi!

I graduated from St. Olaf College in 1967. During those years I had a Pontiac Catalina 421 tri-power, a Rivera, and a Corvette coupe. My girlfriend, now wife (Wendy) had my Vette, my senior year, as St.O didn't allow us to have cars. We married in 68' while we were both at U of IA, where we had a HO Firebird and a Shelby 500 Mustang.  The next summer we lived in Freeport, Grand Bahama IS.  I got a Shelby 350 Conv stuck in a seaweed bog, the tide covered the car over the hood, and what a mess... and no Ins.  Later I worked at Maytag in Marketing Research, ran my father's office operations, owned 2 gift shops, and currently have majority ownership in a large apartment complex. Over my car years I have owned around 50, mostly new vehicles.  We were blessed with 3 children, the 2 boys already mentioned, and our daughter Heidi, a Target Pharmacist. We also have 3 grandsons. Our kids like cars almost as much as me. I have a couple big boats and 2 SeaDoo's.  My other toy is our 22 sport boat, with a 502,  that goes over 70 mph. I've only blown it up once, and fried a piston another time~! I have many stories about my stupidity and ignorance, but you have already figured that out~!

Well, I was born in Denver in 78, grew up in San Diego, CA where I met my wife. We have been married for over 10 years now.

I have been in the IT field for 17 years, starting at the help desk level, to desktop admin to server admin to now as a Senior Systems Admin.

I have always been a car guy, from my meager beginnings with my first car, a... wait for it... black 1986 Ford Tempo! I painted the gauge surrounds red, installed a red Grant steering wheel, Vortech banner on the windshield (no it did not have any part on it made by Vortech) a huge wing out of a parts catalog, K&N cone filter attached to the tube with duct tape and a 5" exhaust tip. I painted all the chrome trim black on the car and was made fun of quite often.
From there, here is my list of cars I have owned, some good some bad:

1986 Ford Tempo
1988 Honda Prelude Si
1993 Toyota Pickup 4x4
2000 Hyundai Tiburon
1996 Mustang GT
1998 Camaro Z28
2001 Camaro Z28
2005 Jeep Liberty Diesel
2008 Honda Civic Si Sedan
2008 Jeep Patriot
2009 Subaru WRX
2010 Nissan Xterra
2012 Acura RDX
2010 Taurus SHO

The SHO honestly takes the cake. The power, the comfort, the tech... it is a combo of all the favorite things in all of my cars put into one.

Well, my name is Josh W. I grew up in north-eastern Michigan, joined the Air Force in 2010, which took me away from the Great Mitten  State to this hell-hole named Vegas. I am an A-10 Crew Chief, if you know what an A-10 is, then you're a badass, if you don't, well, you know... :bangin:

I have always drove Fords. I love Waterfowl hunting, it's probably my favorite thing too do, which sucks being in the desert.  If I'm hunting or fishing, I won't be complaining. Thats about all!

Hi, my name is Paul, and I grew up in Southeast Michigan, and I worked for cintas in the 1990s. (Small world!)
I left there to become a teacher, and that calling took me to Maryland for eight years, then back home to the mitten.

I was never much of a car guy until I got my 2010 SHO... I usually drove hand-me-downs from my brothers.  I learned manual shifting in a 1979 Nova with three in the tree. I'll admit that I was disappointed that my Dad rebuilt a Corvair with both of my older brothers, but had lost interest by the time it was my turn. He even had a body in the backyard long enough for a tree to grow in it! Dad worked for GM for forty years, and the first car I bought with my money was a little Saturn SC2. I remember that he used to get a company car, and he could trade with other employees so we got to drive Corvettes and Fieros(!) on occasion.

My SHO is my first Ford, though my wife has driven a 2010 Escape for a year now... The SHO is by far the best vehicle I've ever owned, in every way.  I am very happy with it, obviously.  I went to the dealer planning to buy a 2013 Fusion or 2013 Taurus, not necessarily a SHO, but we were able to get an excellent deal on the 2010, for which I traded my well-worn 2002 Venture (inherited from Dad).

Maybe being on forums is not a good thing, since you guys have me thinking about mods that I never even heard of before!

Hah; you'll like this Wrub.

I played it for awhile -- was going to build a home-made cockpit but decided not to since I rather spend my money on actual flying (working on instrument/multi-engine/CFI). I want to either buy or co-own a Cirrus SR22 in a year or two. I flew back to Austin once last year in a Cessna 172, that was a LONG flight at 120kts.

Good morning all!

I'm Michael.  Born and raised in Denver, living in the ghetto called Colorado Springs for now.

I've been a car freak since I was a little kid.  Started drag racing at Bandimere at 16 with my 1972 Grand Prix powered by a 455 H.O.  Then built a little V8 Chevy Monza coupe.  I joined the Navy and was an electronics tech/weapons sytems tech on submarines for 10 years.  which stayed as my main trade.  After the Navy I tried road racing, and have been hooked on it since.

I haven't raced in five years as my Beautiful Bride was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I lost her August of this year, and subsequently my job for taking too much time off the last two months of her life to be with her in the final stages of her fight.  I'll never regret that...  Ever..

I had a European Spec M3 that I had raced a few times and very much loved that car.  By far the most phenominal, well balanced precision machine I have driven yet.  But it was aging as was our other ford so I traded them both for the SHO.

Having owned 2 of the Yamaha engined SHO's I somewhat knew what to expect but Ford seems to have taken their full line up and made all of them incredible machines.

I am anxious for spring to roll around to see what this new kid can do on a road course!

Horrible dilemma... Life can suck... Pray you are strong and a survivor.    Lost 2 close friends this summer.. Shakes one up... but I can only think of the spouses and their struggles.

We all need to make sure our "affairs" are in order (business not sexual...) so if something happens quickly... our significant others don't have to deal with that issue(s) too.

Enjoy your new toy... the RED SHO!

I know shes watching.  smiling and shaking her head as she always did with my toys.  lol.  she loved driving the M3.  I think the SHO meets her approval as well.

I'm AJ, grew up in the OC/SoCal, I  joined the Navy in '84 and saw the world or at least a few duty stations in California. I was a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy and then trained as an Operating Room Technition, I stayed on that path in civillian life and now after the years have flown by and I had a successful marraige(for 15 years anyway...) two fantastic kids(in 6th & 7th grade now) and have been working in the Operating Room for 30 years now. I still remember at 17 being the youngest in the OR but now most of the Docs are younger than me. TIme moves on I suppose.  Now I am in sales working for Zimmer Orthopedics supporting their Internal Spinal Fixation Hardware lines.  What that meas is if there is a spinal fusion surgery going on, I'm there working with the nurses to assemble and hand up to the surgeon the right size/style/shape for the procedure he is doing. I suppose my other job is to keep him out of trouble :-)

I've been a turbo enthusiast since my first new car, an 87 Dodge Shadow Turbo ES.  Not exactly a rocket with a 0-60 in 7.9 and a 15.20 1/4 mile time, turbo cars have come a loooong way since then. I kind of got stuck in the Mopar mode and owned just about every 80's-90's FWD turbo variant Chrysler made. I've owned about 70 cars at last count and I still have a handful of Dodge turbo cars but the 2014 Explorer Sport is my first Ford ever. It replaced my 2004 Toaureg V10 5l twin turbo diesel as my daily driver, I miss the 600+lbsft of torque and the cockpit adjustable ride hieght suspension but the ESport is winning me over in other ways, the kids keep discovering gee-whiz things the MFD will do and since I just dicovered 'Sand mode' (and loving it) I'd say I still have a bunch left to learn.

The name is Spenser.  I live in Rogers, Arkansas.  I'm a store manager at an O'Reilly Auto Parts.  I'm 25 years old and will have been with O'Reilly's for 8 1/2 years.  Cars have been my passion as far back as I can remember.  I first owned a 1978 Chevy Chevette.....a real cream puff.  Shortly thereafter, I saved up enough money to buy a 1968 Ford LTD 2 door with a Q code 428.  Needed WAY more work than I could do/afford at the time, so I  sold it.  The rest have all been mustangs: '88 GT, '95 GT, '03 Mach 1, and an '03 Cobra.  I've also owned an '02 Harley Davidson F150.  Needless to say, I'm a diehard Ford fanatic.  But I respect anyone's vehicle that they take pride in.

I've had my '10 SHO for about 7 months now and love it!  First step will be getting a tune for it.  This forum has opened a whole new world of information to me and for that, I am thankful.

My name is Don and I live in SW Michigan. I was an army brat until 2 then moved to Downriver Detroit due to divorce. Moved to Garden City, MI (Metro Detroit) for a few years and then out to Kalamazoo MI just before finishing high school in 95.

I have been a car freak since a kid and my grandpa taught me how to drive at 12, 1970's Toyota Jeep standard H. I used to sell cars and so I normally trade up every 2-3 years. Here's the list of what I have owed, it's all over the place:

1982 Mustang v6
1987 Nissan Sentra 4dr
1989 Nissan 240sx se
1994 Pontiac Grand Am GT 2dr
2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
1987 Nissan Maxima (winter beater)
1997 VW Jetta GL
2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT (first modded car with SC pulley)
2002 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi (pulley and CAI)
2005 Pontiac Bonneville GXP
2008 Grand Prix GXP (tune, FWI, cat back)
2011 SHO (tune)

Plus countless demos while selling cars.

I do treasury management sales for PNC Bank. Married with a 1 yr old boy and 2 English Bulldogs.  I'm a huge Formula 1 fan and stick to my Italian roots as a Ferrari fan. Maybe one day I'll win big and be able to buy one. I have been on forums since my first modded car and I just love all the great info everybody shares. It's always nice to be able to chat with people driving similar cars. This is a very good forum with great members, I have been on some bad one before.

I look forward to learning more about the EB platform and maybe meeting some of you. I already met up with TSS1 when he got his remote start installed by a friend of mine.

Wow, don't hear of too many F1 fans in the US. I've been a Ferrari fan since I started watching in the late 90's. I'm sad to see Massa go but he just never recovered from the hit in the head. This year will be interesting with all the changes. Not to mention the Alonso, Kimi match. I liked Vettel until he screwed Webber over and then went back and forth on his response to it. He has a ton of talent and will continue to be a big name and break records though.

I feel the same way re:Vettel/Weber. But he did screw over Weber, but dang, when you're good as Vettel is, Webber had to have known he was playing second fiddle. I really would have liked seeing Raikonnen go to RBR, but I guess you have to bring up you junior racers also. I do not have good feeling for RBR this year, as two of their guys went to Mercedes, but we shall see.

Hey figured id post to this section. I'm Anthony and live in northern Il. I used to work heating and air conditioning but since it was seasonal I decided to go into corporate America. I currently work now and have been working for Zebra tech for 9 years. I am in charge of training our repair facility and other repair facilities across the world on Card printers. I travel quite often for work leaving my wife and my second wife (sho) alone as I am training people in other countries. When I am not working I am going to school pursuing a degree in business administration.

I am the proud owner of a Tuxedo Black 2014 SHO non PP. I traded in my MKZ for a real car:-)

The only thing done to it so far is replacing the factory air intake with the one from K&N.

I started playing with cars back when if you wanted a little more HP you tinkered with a few things. If you wanted more you you tinkered with allot of things.

My very first car was a 1972 Mustang Sport Coupe (still am not a fan of Fastbacks) it came with a 302 4v, was swapped out with a Boss 302. When my father the old time drag racer drove the Boss engine he said the car was still to big and heavy for the motor. Shortly after that I received my birthday, Christmas and Graduation present. The Boss 302 was swapped out for a 429 Cobra, my father smiled and said now the engine is bigger than the car, be careful.

Now so many years later all I need do is tinker a bit to get what i am looking for out of my SHO.

Welcome to EBPF, congrats on your '14 SHO!  Very true, nowadays just a bit of tinkering can make a big difference, and thankfully, Ford has left that possibility alive & well with the SHO :)  Got pics?  Any & all rides welcome ...

Hi fellow SHO owners I'm new to this forum and don't know if I'm even doing this correctly but here goes. I currently live in Wisconsin this is my third SHO. I had the 1st and 2nd gen loved them now 2012 red SHO with the performance package. I'm currently installed a K&N CIA. I'm doing the brake upgrades, have the 3 bar sensor, NGK plugs, catless DP, and just order my Livernois tune ready to install. Looking forward to getting to know everyone better and learning a lot about my SHO.

Hi Guys,

My name is Butch. I drive a 2013 PP SHO and just bought a 2014 XSport for my wife.  I drive all day for work (industrial sales) so I put around 35K per year on my cars. Just unloaded a Pontiac GTP with 200K (fan of blowers) that was modded as well.  Love the SHO so far and have been having fun with my recent mods.   Liking the Ecoboost platform and plan to mod further on both vehicles.  Milwaukee, WI

Hello everyone   My name is Ken and like everyone else here enjoy cars !
I have been into cars for years and have raced many Fords in the past. Partial to the old 427 cars.
I have however, slid off the Blue Oval and purchased other great cars in the past. But always come back to my Fords.
Well, I just purchased a 2013 Ford Taurus SHO and I am looking forward to some Mods. My wife and I will be driving this car as a daily driver so the mods will not be too wild. Most likely looking at a cold air kit and a tune. Exhaust if not too loud. Any suggestions ?
Some of my cars of the past:
1969 Mustang Mach I   (swapped out 428 for 427)
1969 Shelby GT350
1968 Shelby GT350 conv
1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler
1971 Mustang Mach I (429SJ) Auto
1972 Nova SS (350)
1972 GMC Sprint (402)
1967 GTX 440 Auto
1964 Ford Gal XL R code (427)
     Present cars:
2013 Ford Taurus SHO
1993 Ford F150 Mark III
1967 Ford Fairlane GTA

Welcome to EBPF, Ken, congrats on the return to the Ford family :)  Tunes can be had from Unleashed, Livernois, and also LET.  There is a rumor that there may be a couple of tuners using HPTuners for the SHO, as yet unconfirmed.  Downpipes vendors are PPE, Livernois, and Unleashed.  Catbacks (or turbobacks as I have heard them called recently) - Corsa is probably the handsdown favorite, but you can rig your own with, for example, an X pipe and mufflers.

I certainly will post some pictures to his site once I figure out how to upload them.

Just joined the forum, I hope to learn more about my car from like-minded people.

I purchased my Tuxedo black 2014 SHO/PP almost 2 years ago and am always finding new things I like about it. I was initially getting interested in looking at getting something like the Chevy SS, which lead me to look at the SHO. I have a daily driver so my SHO stays indoors much of the time. Miles at this point are just over 20K. This schema keeps me excited to drive it on the weekends, or when the weather is good.

I want to keep it pretty close to factory for the time being. Since it's under warranty, I will wait awhile before I get into engine modifications. It's plenty fast-enough for me right now, and I would just get in more trouble that I already am for driving like a hoon.

I ended up having the H&R springs installed to lower the stance and am happy with how it looks. I have been posting elsewhere on the forum for advice on how to settle down the ride quality. Any advice on how to calm down the bouncy/jiggly nature of the lowered ride would be very much appreciated.

I am looking at changing out the wheels in the very near future. Looking at TSW Nurburgring wheels, with the machined face. My thoughts are wheels need some bling to stand out, and the all-black look feels a little played out to me. My car is tinted all around and with black wheels feels a little too monochromatic. Gray wheels are a little to dank for my taste as well.

I was also toying with the idea of an exhaust to make the sound a little more pronounced. I have spent a little time exploring options and it feels to me like a complete exhaust with downpipes (combined with an intake and "tune") are where I would likely go with this. For now the stock stuff is OK, no complaints.

If my wish list sounds like every other SHO owner's list, that would probably be accurate. I think we all are trying to tweak the things a stock factory product gets slightly wrong, and make our cars unique and perfect in our eyes...

Thanks in advance for any and all advice and correspondence!

JC

You know the 4.2-4.1 brake conversion makes a gently used 4.1 a viable and inexpensive option.

Just sayin 😉

Hello all, my name is Zach, I am a union sheet metal worker in DSM IA, I spend most of my time outside of work and my son, building and tuning anything LS (yes this is an ecoboost forum, i know) I love daily driveability of Ford's ecoboost systems and also the power on demand that I do not believe any other truck can offer.

Hobbies are really what I have already stated, I have a now one year old son who is s terror, and I also own a 99 Camaro, it is my project and probably will be forever (here come the LS remarks lol). I follow the SCT series around when I can and spend a lot of time at the street car nights at the local 1/8mi. Eddyville Raceway Park here in IA.

I am a mostly self taught fabricator and tuner, my fabrication I would say is rather stellar, tuning is a work in progress. I race gokarts occasionally of which I do not own, just have a good relationship with the two cycle engine builder. I have access to a few different machine shops including manual machines as well as CNC. I'm always willing to help with others' projects when I have the time, so if there is anything else anybody would like to know feel free to get ahold of me.

Hello. I'm new to this board. I'm a professional speeder. I grew up riding dirtbikes and snowmobiles. I've spent ALOT in court fees for speeding tickets. I once had 10 weekends straight of court ordered 8 hr drivers school. Now a days if i get pulled over its so you can freely continue speeding. Once while pulled over I was asked why i was going so fast and i replied "because its allowed me to cut 4 hrs out of my trip so far."  I like to go fast so i buy fast things. I've always tried to be stealth though. The only movies i had as a kid were Herbie the love bug and Cannonball run....i watched them daily.  In a perfect world everyone would drive on the left as blockers while i drive on the right, roads wouldn't have speed limits, all tires would be Y rated, my wife would have a job, and my kids would win more championships.

Hope i can learn alot from being a member of this board, and maybe some of you will learn something from me as well.   ~ Thanks

Hello, My names Mark and I'm a tinkerholic.  I've been around internal combustion engines my entire life, starting with race carts at 12 and I was hooked. Ran a 11 second 67 Camaro in the mid 1980's at the old Gateway International and spent 2 years worth of weekends pitting for a friends dirt modified and sportsman class cars in the old Allied Auto Racing community while finishing up Technical college. Found myself with a wife and kids shortly after and traded an expensive car hobby for a less expensive stint playing for a highly sponsored paintball team with a focus on changing and growing the sport. Bulged my L4/L5 disk and traded paintball for firearms hobby building with the expiration of the AWB. Several years later, with the kids all grown and 30+ years under my belt as a Tech for a large fleet company (say, We Try Harder), I've come full circle and picked up a 2013 SHO PP and I'm starting to tinker with cars again for enjoyment and not just a pay check. For 30 years my only focus has been repairing multiple car lines back to original working condition, performance modification hasn't even been an afterthought so I started looking for some quality forums to read up and ask a question or two. Shodded gave me a gentle prod to introduce myself, so this is me in a nutshell. Lifetime tinkerer of everything mechanical/electrical and always looking to learn some new things (as I've forgot most everything from the 80's).

Mark B (6500rpm)

Well, well, well... I guess I have been super negligent in making an introduction on here.  That should give you people an idea on how tech savvy I really am! So I guess the following will be my sad and tardy attempt for an intro.

My name is Ian and I reside in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and I am the proud owner of a 1995 MTX SHO and a 2014 non PP SHO. My 95 is currently waiting for some attention to get it road worthy  (hopefully this spring) and my 2014 is my daily. I currently have some modest mods on my 2014. A tune from Livernois, colored blue hard pipes with Tial BOV, MDesign CAI, PPE catless downpipes and Black Widow Race Venom mufflers. I plan on upgrading my turbos and my intercooler  (I just have to source that last item).

I have met some great people in the SHO world, and some that needs to stop inbreeding  (S** dopes). I look forward to communicating and figuring out how to get the most out of our engines with you all. Unless I find that I turn into a racist ego maniac with an inferiority complex that wants to blow up my engine, you can be sure I will NOT endorse, become a client, or a male prostitute for any S**I product or fan boys.

Ian

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F there IAN! I was curious if you ever fixed your BOV issue? Nice Intro without the mention of the so-called S** would of been prefered!  Thanks for joining!  Z

Oh sweet. A heartfelt, motivating, and quite personal intro from Ian located just North of the border.

Male prostitution? Careful there Ian...... I'm not quite sure any of us desire to know what exactly you would do to offer and/or receive such "services".

Some things are better left to one's own imagination. LOL.

Welcome aboard there buttercup.

HELLO!! My name is Carlos and I am new to this forum and would like to introduce my self. I have a 2013 SHO and just recently had my engine replaced along with both of my turbos. I am slowly learning more and more about my car. I did however tune my SHO (unleashed) with a Corsa Exhaust and CAI. It is nice to see that if I have and questions I could come here and ask.

Hey guys,

I'm new to the EcoBoost scene and just bought a 2019 2 days ago. I come from the Gt world and big diesel so I'm a little lost of somethings like dual blow off valve. Anyway I have around $5000k to put down for upgrades

Any suggestions on what thighs to get first? I know I was to get custom tunes so not sure on the tuner or who to get tunes from. I'd love a e85 time for sure. I'd like to get all the standard bolt ins for now so if anybody has a list or then top 10 list and send it my way I would greatly appreciate it. I absolutely love the carb even with the 10 speed auto. Iv always been stuck everything but I'm damn impressed with what this csr can do.

I'm Michael, born in Australia and followed my proud American wife to the states - been here for almost 4 years now in cool CLE. Liking it lots. I have a '11 MKt Ecoboost, Powerstop brakes, 22" wheels, H&R springs, and I removed those awful badges from the rear. Love the 3.5 and looking forward to a few more tweaks yet.
