External Engine / Re: Ecoboost Severe HPFP
« Last post by Livernois Motorsports on Today at 11:05:36 AM »
Hopefully this helps
The only one for sale is the best one of course, and we run the pump to see where it no longer continues to climb and caps out

Is that flow on Y and Cam Rotation on X? Or is X RPM? Or ...? Would help to have some labels on the X and Y axis, as well as units
X is RPM and Y is LPH, this is how we rate the pump not my ccs/cam rot

Thanks for that clarification. The next question that comes to mind from the graph, there are 4 listed pumps (Firestorm and Severe Firestorm w/o revised lobe, and Firestorm and Severe Firestorm w/ revised lobe). Is the revised lobe the only version that is for sale, since it clearly out-performs the other, or is one version the SHO/transverse version, and the other for F150/longitudinal?

Along with the above question, the RPM is going to ~7200 it seems, is there a reason for that? Since in the SHO atleast the turbo is pretty maxed out at higher RPM, and the shift points are only as high as about 6200 RPM IIRC.

Meth/Water Injection / Re: Opp or opt for meth

I guess a bit late to the party but it took roughly seven days as promised by LMS  to have my custom (DPM) installed which also included a Dyno tune plus installation of new spark plugs and front primary 02 sensors @ LMS Facility last year.
Dave Best of luck and any questions you may have always feel free to ask brother.

Meth/Water Injection / Re: Meth nozzle sizing?

It is worth noting you may not need/want a "controller" and by that I mean progressive controller.  Last I talked to Brad he much prefers all or nothing for Meth injection.  That should make what controller to use a bit more simple, just get one that will let you adjust when the spray starts and adjust it per Brad's recommendation.

Yes you are 100% right mine is 100% on at a set psi. Car runs unreal/prefect!  Much smoother than a ramp spray.

Group Purchases / Re: 13+ Taurus Gt350 style front bumper

I provided the link to this thread in hopes Sammy would make a username and start a post about the hood.

I too was hoping it would generate the 20 folks needed to initiate the building of the hood. I was initially super excited about it but then realized i had other things I needed for my car more so than wanted. Money is not an abundance for me sadly.

Derfdog15- I was referring to a CAI. AFE is currently prototyping 2 new designs.
Regarding the brakes I do not autocross however my SHO needs new pads or darn near. I was going to get the Powerstop kit that alot of people have had success with. (not sure on topcop or regular yet)

Either way I hope they get enough folks to make the bumper and the hood. I love seeing new things made for the SHO platform.
Someone also provided him with the link to the SHOForums. Its blocked at my work so I am hardly on there. This forum is not so I am able to utilize all the great info on here.

short of letting air out of my tire to test, how can i tell if my tpms sensors are working or not?
I got a warning message on mine.

IIRC I used Torque to figure out the location.

When I bought winter wheels I thought I might have issues since they came off a different brand car but all I had to do was swap the wheels and it worked without issue.

SHO and MKS / Re: Clean side PCV and Aftermarket Intakes
« Last post by Agentlongwood on March 20, 2018, 08:39:14 PM »
Why would you want to get the suction from the clean side?  Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of it being "clean?"  Under boost you get that suction from the WOT line that goes from the front turbo intake to the catch can, right?

PCV/Catch Cans / Re: Need a bit of help with catch can details.

Ah, thank you sir.  I've never worked with AN fittings.  Braided lines and AN fittings seem like they may be a bit overkill, for a PCV system.  I'm looking into whether I can use the 1/2" hose for all the PCV connectors.  If so I'll probably do that, to eliminate the need for reducers and short sections of off-size hose.  Now I'm off to find a mounting location.  It's a pain in the butt on the MKS.  The can is too tall to mount in the usual location by the passenger shock tower, and the MKS doesn't have the handy mounting plate above the radiator that the Explorer has... Time to get creative, lol.

I think DerfDog was referring mainly to lambase... our tunes do not change that based on E content...
No, it won't change lambse...but that is why we have fuel trims.

Our cars infer 02 content just like flex fuel cars, they are limited by fuel capacity and the trim CEL which can be turned off in the tune.

I could change my stoich to 14.1, turn off the trim CEL, and it would add the fuel needed to hit Lambda 1. Now, this definitely wouldn't be ideal but the car will make sure you hit your fuel target. This system is extremely robust and flexible.
