The threads of these meth bungs are much deeper than the threads of the nozzle. Anyone have some good suggestions?
I went with a Snow nozzle when I got my EPP hot pipes. Not the best pic, but that's how I did mine.
This is how I did mine.
you have to use one washer on each side or the nozzle will bottom out on the 90* and you will have no meth flowing.

The nozzle threads and filter don't clear the other side to even attach the 90 degree elbow that I can see. I'm still trying to get the nozzle to thread in from inside as its not easy with no room...

You plugged the bung and made your own...im about to do that as I'm getting frustrated lol! After already placing my order Julio from Alky said it's cheaper and easier to drill your own hole as I'm seeing now
The meth bungs are super deep
Is your 90 degree attached to something else 5ohSHO? How did you get your nozzle to thread into the 90 fitting through the bung?

Yes I just drilled my own I placed it down so I could get a wrench in there and hold the nozzle in place and then just spin the 90 from the out side. make sure you get about 4-5 full turns on it. put a washer on the inside and outside.
the snow nozzles look like this.

I screwed my nozzle into the pipe from the outside and attached the 90 to the nozzle. It doesn't stick out the other side of the bung but it's been working fine for me.

That answered my question of what kind of nozzle would clear that..

I see so you have the snow nozzles?
Oops. Well that picture is showing my nozzle on my OEM IC to TB pipe placed slightly after the IAT sensor and before the throttle body. I thought that was better but I see all our bungs are placed well before the IAT sensor.
EPP sells the snow kit correct? Makes sense of then the bung is for that nozzle.
Maybe I'll put one here and here

I thought they did but I don't see it on their site anymore.
look at my picture again you will have to account for the hose and clamp.
fyi I started with the m15 nozzle and ajp had me move down to the m5 as it was spraying way too much. but it was a lms tune I started with.
not a perfect conversion but
m5= about 500 ml/min

Ok that explains him saying it was spraying a $*it ton. Maybe I should downgrade to an M5 since I'll have two but he said he was finally happy with it and here I go adding more nozzles.
On the fence if I should add another nozzle since I don't need it one bit, at least not in the same location.
I'm looking and my dipstick looked funny, touched it and it fell off....thats a first
It's not broken it's just broke-in.
Ya Brad made 50 more HP then LMS on 2/3's less meth. LMS M15 nozzle.

Brad destroyed my Livernois Meth tune. It was only 12 psi. His base 93 3 bar 14 psi tune with no meth killed it. Brad is very good!
1/8"NPT Bung correct! Don't want to spray to much cause sometimes less is more! Z

Yes 1/8 NPT. It's just the Alky nozzles are not long enough to thread into the bung enough.

so the problem is the snow aka the rest of the meth guys use a different nozzle than alky controls does, Not only in the way it is threaded (all 1/8 npt with 24p) but also in the flow rating. the alky kit is by far the better kit but didn't keep flow relations in perspective (literately) with the rest of the performance world. And yes Julio knows the relation to flow of his to the others but will not give it to you. The snow or others are ML/pm and the alky is GPh
these guys cover the conversion rates

I did ask Julio about this, I want to say he had been drinking as he seemed in a really good mood but maybe that's just him...he didn't care for the bungs, he said the nozzles don't sit in far enough and I'm better off to drill my own holes plus it's cheaper.
I think I'm going to install my Hotpipes except the IC to TB and order to M5 nozzles from Alky and drill my own. And plug the bungs. I'm not a huge fan of the two bungs especially since they are literally right next to each other. They should be spread out. But the pipes look great and I love the bare aluminum look!

Mike at EPP should ask if your going ALKY or snow for the bung. He has been down this road many of time for sure!
I agree. It's only asked if I want 1/8 or 1/4 NPT. No mention of the bung depth which really is after getting them...crucial for nozzle brand. Overall still pleased but I'll have two plugged meth bungs. Silly.

That you paid extra to have installed and have to pay to plug. I'm in the same boat. so no poking fun.
for guys going forward do not get the bung and just drill your own hole if your using the alky kit!
The bungs seem to close for comfort like a pair of boobs IMO! Shoot Mike an email on your issue! Mike is a good guy. Z :)
Perhaps bpd1151 Alky dual nozzle setup! Z

The handle on mine broke off after removing #5 spark plug! I used a sharp Tool pick in order to remove it safely without incident!
Simply poke and pull Up slowly. Z :)

I better order a new one now. Thanks Z! I was thinking about trying to put a screw in it and lift it out but the picks might work better (safer)
I got lucky mine still had just enough sticking out so I could grab it with needle nose.
Update on upgrading to a dual nozzle setup. If you already have a single nozzle and are tuned for it(me) upgrading to dual nozzles doesn't do anything except throw off everything you're tuned for. I'm tuned with an M15 nozzle. If I back off to less I'll need a retune(s) or do more I'll need a retune(s) so basically if your tuner is happy with your meth spray/volume and pressure upgrading will only complicate things and is unnecessary....unless you just want some under the hood eye candy of two nozzles(me) then you'll need to change your nozzles. I have the Alky system so for me bc I'm tuned for an M15 nozzle I picked up an M5 and M10. So I'll have two nozzles but will spray the same so my tune is not affected. I already purchased my dual upgrade so I might as well install it.
Now some may need more volume...per tuner request and you could upgrade to two nozzles or just upgrade your single nozzle.
Big difference though if you're looking to get direct port...in which case I would assume you would want very small nozzles as you would have 6 at least...so you won't spray more than a single but you'll get perfect distribution like ZSHO has on that cute redhead!
And unless you want to mil the meth bungs down don't even bother. Just drill your own unless you have nozzles with a ton of threads like the SNOW nozzles.
FYI if you already have Alky nozzles and just want to swap them out you don't need to buy the hole nozzle assembly with the 90 degree fitting you can just buy the nozzle tips and washers for 15.99 each.
I believe the Dual nozzle kit should have a check valve corresponding with the 90 deg elbow and nozzle. Z

The dual nozzle kit does not come with a high pressure check valve. The HP check valves are still accessory items to be purchased separately. I added them to my cart.
My nozzles tips just came in along with another check valve. I believe it's 11/32 drill bit I will need and I can get these lovely nozzles and check valves assembled and installed!
