Not many people do. Personally I run Castrol Edge with a Motorcraft Filter on both of my EcoBoost motors.
No I use the annual and change every 5k I need to get it tested to make sure it's performing as well as amsoil that most do the same and are told they could go longer

I don't have a 2.7 however I have an Ecoboost and I like Royal Purple HPS(High Performance Street) with a K&N oil filter. I just like K&N....however the Motorcraft filter works very well. Worst engine start up chatter I've ever experienced was with Fram Ultra and a Wix filter.
Any of you looking to try a new product and document a used oil analysis (for us oglers :D) might be interested in this oil:
Maxx oil Pro Max Nano Plus
It produced the lowest wear rate in a 300K mile naturally aspirated Duratec, and my hope is that it offers similar benefits for the Ecoboost as well. I do not have any data to back up this thought really, just the hope :)

Yes, I've used it on my 3.5 eco since I drove the car off the showroom along with Mobil 1 oil. 60k miles now.
What filter do you use and how close to the 15000 mile interval do you get before changing your oil

I would say closer to 5K intervals IMO! I think the vast majority of members here use the Oem Motorcraft oil filters with overall great results. BTW Welcome aboard. Z
