quick question for reference as i'm shopping for hose for install. local parts store has gates tranny cooler hose rates to 400psi. guessing that should be plenty?

here's the specs on what's available locally.

why fuel rated hose? obviously heater hose and vacuum hose is a no go but i would think transmission oil cooler line should meet all the specs unless there's something specific to our trans system that would render it not compatible.

Oh yeah you are good..i didnt see what hose you were looking at
so got the hose and got it installed this afternoon. wasn't quite bolt up like others have been though. the existing bracket on the passenger side didn't quite line up. the brackets on my cooler were facing up toward the bumper support so i drilled a hole and mounted it that way. don't know if it was a different trans cooler or my car is a bit of an anomaly. cooler was from a junkyard pulled from a 14 pi.
