So, I dropped in new plugs, and installed the Gearhead tune, went like normal, but on full shutdown and restart of the car the 4x will not connect to the car for datalogging.
I get a red/green flash on the LED.
So I just deleted 2 tunes, and 6 config files .. Hope it was just a space issue .. will update after testing post file deletes off the hand held
Well hope I REALLY like the Gh tune.. SCT IS still flashing red/green any time I try to connect to the car. Have a email out to SCT SUPPORT but won't hear back until Monday afternoon :( if there open.. ugh
I hope its not a strategy code issue ?
Fully update the SCT then reload the tunes ?
Did the database and handheld update prior .. :\ I wonder if the handheld is unmarried after using a new tuner source..

It should become unmarried as soon as you return it to stock. Did you put it back to stock before uploading the GH tune?

I did ... but I have done this before when I switched from Torrie to Brad .. hmmm wonder if i exceeded some internal count??
But you can still datalog on a unamarried 4x cant you ?

Yes you can. I have an x4 but my car is tuned with my livewire. I use the x4 for logging all the time.
Yeah mine wont, flashes red/green. It cannot even pull the SW/strategy info. ##$% ... I think it is dead. I have seen a few posts where red\green is a full unit (too many files) .. but as a software guy i also bet that comes back to not being able to write to the flash memory .. it may have a bad flash cell/memory.
well i will wait for SCT to email me back .. if there open today :P
