Title: Show me your Hotpipe colors
Post by: 6500rpm on November 16, 2019, 05:33:06 PM
I've got a set of hotpipes and the new CAI ordered from EPP uncoated. In another life I mess with firearms and use Norrell's Moly Resin
and DURACOAT finishes for heat and solvent properties, between the two the color choices are endless. I'd like to see some pics of what you guys have chosen for your induction system colors. Silver and black are always good, but sometime I've seen things that seem really off the grid that just seem to pop! If you've got good under hood pic's, post up please.

The CAI part of my order came in and after seeing them I'm thinking about polishing them instead, not many shiny things under the hood. Time to take a trip to the local powder coating shop and see what they have to offer and make a decision.

I love mine with no coating.  I'll post a new pic once I get the EPP Dual Intake in.

Check your Pipes PRIOR To INSTALL!! There could be small amounts of oil residue or machine shavings lodged inside the Hot Pipes as mentioned on EPP Site..
I used a garden hose to remove any excess buildup and let air dry IIRC! Enjoy Folks. Z   :)
