With summer here, I'd like to put a sock/cover on my filter (gen 2 EPP duel CAI).
I can ball park the measurements for the filter chart, but if you have a known good size or part number I'd be interested. The Outerwears filter cover fitment chart is fairly extensive..
I used Part Number: 20-1770 for my original version Gen 1 intake and fits like a glove. It should be a good alternative for the Gen 2 intake IMO! Z

Thanks Buddy,
It's NASCAR season again

I actually recently saw a picture of yours over at the SHO board and it jogged my memory. Checked your site but I didn't see it offered, or did I miss it?

We aren't a dealer for Outerwear, we just have a link to it on the EPP listing. HOWEVER, I just heard from a customer today that the sock actually doesn't fit the new AEM filter as it did with the previous S&B filter, and looking at their catalog I can't find one that will fit the Gen 2.

Do you think a sock it worth it?

I didn't have one to start until I was driving on the highway in torrential rain and my CEL started flashing like crazy and wouldn't go above 2500 rpm in any gear. Had to limp the car 5 miles to my exit, then it cleared up idling at the stop light. Chalked it up as a fluke from the rain, but the next big rainstorm it happened again.
Mike suggested the one above, and I haven't had an issue since. Added bonus it's washable and my filter is still pristine after nearly a year installed.
