In my experience with the 2010 SHO, the MSD coils did not make any difference after about 5k miles. It idled smoother but saw no gains on a moderate MET tune running 22/23 degrees timing on 14.5 boost from AJP. The do look pretty though :D
I like MSD, smoothed out idle and got rid of a slight studder mid throttle. So fsr so good, 8000 miles on new set...
MSD is the only brand that has been tried with some degree of success. OEM is still the optimal way to go.
I love my MSD coils. Keep an eye out on Amazon for a "used" set. They are usually a return item that did not fit or was unwanted. My set had part of the packaging cut off but was brand new, never installed. There is a set of 6 for $97.24 as I type this. MSRP on an OEM coil is $109.99 each. 6 for less than 1 is a win all day long in my book.
