The front pads were cracking and rotors up there were slightly warped. Land yacht showing off her gurth...lolRichMOTHER OF GOD,they look amazing buddy and enjoy and BTW do not exceed 80mph until you break them in which takes about 400 miles, enjoy. ZThanks buddy. In the brake kit it says 50 miles using extra distance to stop in "urban" driving, then 200 miles before the 60 to 20 mph stops to bed them in. Would you be suggesting I wait a bit longer to set them? ThxRich

ThxRichI have installed so many brake kits on my other cars,it takes roughly 400 miles until there properly broken in,patience is the key buddy to a long lasting fullfillment. Z

I would hate to see you toast those beauties prematurely. Ebc recommends going easy for the First 50 miles minimum. Then smooth ,controlled braking for the next 500. Trying not to heat them up to quickly if possible. You want that break in coating on the pads to do its job.

Got a link? Is there a break in process? WilsonThx.I ordered the EBC slotted rotors and red stuff pads from Auto Anything. If you're looking to get them fast. I paid the premium to have rotors shipped, they threw the pads in no charge....brake kit showed up 25 hours after I ordered it.Big thumbs up to Auto Anything Rich

Quote from: SHOdded on May 08, 2015, 07:25:30 PMDidn't you change the PTU fluid not long ago, wasinger?
Quote from: wasinger3000 on May 08, 2015, 07:13:35 PMThis PTU is like a gear oil black hole. I took out 10oz the first time then put in 16oz about 10 months ago. Now I only got out 9oz but put in 17oz. It must get so hot it vaporized the oil because this math does not add up. Lol.

At least you can get more in. I can only get out about the same amount (9oz.) But that is all I can get back in. I'm almost positive I am on the bottom though. I am worried that it got hot enough at some point to turn some of it into a paste and I can't get that out....
Quote from: wasinger3000 on May 08, 2015, 07:57:13 PMYeah this is the second time now. I changed it about 10 months ago. I'm putting in this pretty stuff.
