Hi what does everyone use to clean your plastic floor mats like weather tech/ husky.
I tried using Mopar wheel and tire cleaner and then some quick detailer they still look a little dirty we usually use aluminum brighter "acid" and simple green on rubber mats but I didn't want to dry out the plastic at all.
Also they use this stuff called purple which is a petrol base greaser not sure how I feel about using that. Guess it would repel water well but think will dry out the plastic in the end.

I just use water with a little laundry or dish soap with a stiff brush, and hose it off.

+1 but I usually just use dawn. I've seen people dress it up to make it shiny but then you risk having your feet slip which is not safe.

Armor All, etc.?
Only if you want people to slip on the mat lol
How about clearcoat, then? :) Just trying to help...
Yeah its hard to find good protection products for mats. I used Optimum No Rinse with good results, but I am sure better products exist.
I use Totally Awesome All Purpose Concentrated Cleaner Degreaser which works Awesome on mats and carpet. Z

I would try diluting some armor-all to the mix with H20 while using a foam sponge applicator.
I have always use Pledge multi surface cleaner which does miracles to the interior and then some . Z :)
I used the Chemical Guys interior stuff at 50/50. It dries and stays glossy. It is slippery but not like armor all. Last for a while.
First coat takes some doing. There after it goes quickly and lasts longer.

Game over. Lols. Its great stuff, super shiny tho. Almost too shiny.
I'd highly suggest picking up some of this:
https://adamspolishes.com/adam-s-super-vrt-tire-trim-dressing.html
You'll find it has many uses all over your vehicle and won't leave things looking overly slick/greasy. I can't stand that artificial gloss look after using products. With the VRT you can more or less control how shiny it looks and just keep knocking the product down with more wipes if you want a more dull or satin finish.
WeatherTech makes a great cleaner and Protector that works great. The cleaner foams when sprayed on the floorliners and with a little scrubbing removes all the dirt. The protector brings back just a bit of gloss and is NOT slippery once it has dried...usually completely dry within 30 minutes unless applied really heavy.
Here is the link to the WeatherTech kit. I give it thumbs up and think it is a good deal for the cost.

I am very pleased with the results of the WeatherTech mat cleaning kit....it does a great job on both the SHO and the Explorer mats...I think the mats in the Explorer look even better. BTW, SHO mats are grey which doesn't show the dirt or the clean look very well, but the Explorer mats are black and they look good when clean and shined up.
But the best part is that the Protector dries without being slippery at all.
