Ok so, finally got tuned by ajpturbo. Highly recommend. And it is fast from a dig but towards the top of third at wot it seems to level off 80-95 mph. I always let off because thats plenty fast on country roads. But this morning i let it shift to 4th and made it to about 115. And SWEET MOTHER OF ALL THINGS HOLY!! It pulled harder and kept pulling! Even at 115! WTH! Is that when lock up occurs? Iats drop from airflow? or?
I mean it seriously pulled harder when it shifted to 4th. :rock:

I had some oddness with 3rd gear in my car as well. I think it is because 3rd is a big step from 2nd for some reason, so the TQ has to work a little differently (my understanding of how car acts and tweaks done.) Brad had to tinker with my TQ lockup a bit on my car as it was shifting into 3rd a bit odd at one point. Make sure to let him know if you are having issues or a concern and he will get you dialed.

Wait till you can try an E30 blend tune with AJP. That is amazing. 3rd keeps pulling and so on and so on.
I'd switch completely over to e85 if there was a station here that had it. Methonal and E85 lol
Mine does the same thing. 3rd gear is decently tall and the turbos tend to have boost taper off and/or get really hot at the heavy load high RPM range. Once you hit 4th the RPMs drop back to a level the turbo's are happy with and also at that speed the intercooler can finally do it's job better.
