Title: News on turbo upgrades!
Post by: EcoPowerParts on February 25, 2013, 02:56:16 PM
Billet GT17-52mm wheels are on their way to best test fitted in the next week or so. I'll post more info as I get it, the same shop is also working on F-150 stock turbo upgrades. They're very excited about Ecoboost performance!!!

So what are you aiming for with the billet units?  Durability, faster spinup, higher boost, all 3?  How much performance gain are you aiming to net?

All 3, probably looking at the ability to support 550WHP with E85.

Would you be going with forged internals at that point?  At least from what I hear, 700 bhp is the tested limit for the 3.5L engines.  Also will be interested in seeing how the AWD system holds up.

Very cool work, sir!
