As a general rule, accumulation of oil around a hose that recirculates charged air is a sign of a boost leak. This appears to be a little dryer than most that I've seen. But this kind of accumulation doesn't happen without a leak.

Can you datalog?

Very possibly. If the PCV system is performing well otherwise, you would get less of an accumulation at the leak site.
I don't have a lap top to data log. Does anyone know the part number for this pipe?
It might be a wise time to invest in some HOTPIPES.IMHO. Z

Thanks for the link. Agreed on the Hot pipes. Especially since the oe part is so damn expensive. Just wish I could buy just that one from them.
Clean it, find the crack and plastic epoxy it. Should be good as new. They even sell it in black.

Also that clamp looks like it's been removed before.

Good eye. I didn't notice until you said something. But you're right. The color change in the lettering, shows that the clamp has been moved.
Did you happen to check out the rear?
I would also add a 1/4 clamp to the waste-gate hose that connects to the intake charge pipe! they have a tendency for coming off due to boost psi .
Those Darn VTA Mods ! Lol . Z

Well ahem......
That's a double entendre if I've ever seen one.

I did check the rear turbo hose. No signs of leaks. I prefer zip ties to those 1/4 clamps.
Did you ever figure anything else out about this I'm having a Wastegate flutter on my 13 sho and I believe it's because of the same hose
