Title: Porting stock turbos?
Post by: shoNoff on August 12, 2018, 05:10:35 PM
Has anyone ever looked into porting the stock turbos? I mean I'm not expecting to pick up a ton. But why not even a gasket match port job? Or is it not even worth my time with the size of these little things. I understand the gains would be minimal or wouldn't be worth pulling the turbos for it. But I have a brand new set sitting on my bench here waiting to go in. So I'm thinking why not.

Did you line up the gaskets and flanges already to check if a port is even needed? I guess I didn't even look when I did my turbo. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say its probly pretty good from the factory and likely not worth hassle or risk.

I did actually this is the front turbo with a factory gasket on it. I agree I'm not expecting 50hp out of it or anything. But any free hp is good hp in my eyes.

Just do it!  Haha or if you don't you'll regret it!  If it doesn't hurt....Do It!  Do It!
