Quick question, are our GT 15 turbos twin scroll or not?  Is that even a thing with a turbo this small?  My brother just bought an '18 F150 Eco and he and I have been looking for the info online and can't find any mention of it, not even on the Garrett website.

no, the SHOs have the regular turbos.  Twin scrolls are on newer design EB engines.  The SHO turbo design is comparatively ancient ...

Thanks SHOdded, so I can assume his new truck has twin scrolls.  He's been a Ford fan all his life, bought an 03 Sonic Blue Cobra in August 02 then lost it to flooding in Louisana in 2016.  Flooded cars must be a thing for us, I lost my 06 GTO 2 months ago here in South Texas to flooding 2 months ago.

I will have to check what they use for the newer F150s.  They do use twin scrolls on the 2015+ Edge with 2.0/2.7 engines.

For sure in the 2.7.  Not sure in the 3.5, they updated the 3.5 design to dual injection, but do not know if they touched the turbos ...
