Title: Anyone running a +45 offset
Post by: shoNoff on April 16, 2019, 09:46:01 PM
I'm looking at wheels now and have come across s set I want to pull the trigger on. They are 20x8.5 with a +45 offset. I'm most likely going to run 255/40/20 tire on this. I just want to make sure this is going to fit once I put the h&r's in. I'm hoping the wheel won't be tucked in to far and hit the strut once lowered.

I currently run 20x9 with +35 offset. Wouldn't the bigger offset push the wheel further out of the wheel well? If so I don't think you'll have any clearance issues, but it might poke jusssssssst a hair.

The more the positive offset the closer the wheel gets to suspension. Positive offset pushes the center of the wheel outward. After looking at some comparison charts they should fit pretty easily. It's only going to be .08 inches closer to suspension. I just went out and checked and I easily have an inch of room now.

I'm just gonna pull the trigger they are on sale and light. Worst case I have to run a 3mm spacer once I put the h&r's in. But I don't think I will have to. So pissed this money should be going towards an intercooler or hpfp  :curse:
