Title: Door locks
Post by: Mertsav93 on December 04, 2019, 10:30:25 PM
I have a 2014 lincoln mks ecoboost, one of my rear doors and my passenger  door locks work randomly, and tonight my passenger door now just wont unlock at all. Anyone run into this before and have an idea of what it could be? I'm hoping to get the passenger  door open so I can take off the panel but no luck yet. Just dont wanna pay a shop to do it haha

Check on owner.ford.com or owner.lincoln.com to see if there are outstanding field service actions for your VIN.  Certain MYs had a recall on door latches IIRC.

EDIT:  Doesn't look like it applies to 2014, but here's the recall I was thinking of

When I used to Live in Bavaria my 2014 SHO used to do some weird s*** like that in the cold. as soon as the weather warmed up some the issues went away...
