Will miss the MKS :(  But gen 2 3.5 EB should be good.  Watch for fuel dilution issues, change oil early the first few times around.  Lab analysis of results I would say are almost compulsory given how "new" this engine is.  Hopefully will fare better than the DI version of the 5.0.

Ok, on to the good stuff :D  Post lotsa pics in a new thread here:

SHOdded, as usual, you are a fountain of good information!  I started a new thread here - https://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,9873.0.html

Would you mind repeating what you said above on my new thread?  I want to make sure to keep your suggestions in my mind and follow through with them!

Whoever designed the rear calipers on these cars needs to suck start a 12 gauge.

EPP Hot Pipes installed.... Firestorm HPFP sold off... new XDI pump incoming tomorrow or Friday... off for GH turbos and EPP catted downpipe install on Saturday... pickup and dyno on Wednesday...

EPP Hotpipes install was OK at best... requires A LOT of adjustments to get them straight... this I believe is due to the this tab not being welded on in the correct place.. there is enough slop in the couplers to adjust them.. but still...

60% flow over stock or 35% more flow XDI HPFP?  And what is it that you feel will be better for your set up to have the XDI pump instead of the Livernois HPFP?

Matt Robinson at Gearhead trusts the XDI pump more than the LMS pump. When going with bigger turbos and a super aggressive tune, its important that my tuner feels comfortable with the fueling. Matt also gave me a HELL of deal on the XDI pump.. basically a one for one swap that costs me nothing to switch them out. That's how much he is concerned with the LMS pump not holding up to his tuning. I couldn't say no to that.

Thanks for the heads up on the universal! I purposely left the oil cap upside for those who are OCD... not mentioning names! I feel you on the socket getting lost...there is a 7/16th somewhere in my engine bay that I can't find.. or its on the side of the road at this point... pisser cause it was my good original craftsman socket..

Did the first oil change on the wife's SHO and discovered that the oil filter installed by the factory was leaking. Never noticed it since the splash guard was soaking it up. Oil level was still good though. I was also surprised to see a splash guard since my SHO didn't come with one.

Welcome to the club.  I have been running a 92 tune from him for 2years now and still love it.

You will now start seeing some really good increases the next few tunes.  His 1st tune is better than stock for sure, but I found his 2-4th tunes really showed increases once he was able to see how the car reacted to the baseline changes.  Then it was fine fine tuning after that.
