Title: Back to my tuning ways
Post by: TriCoatChic on December 02, 2019, 07:09:40 PM
I have a problem. It's a need to modify every vehicle I've owned. I built my first car in 1998, a non-V-tec 1992 Honda Accord LX, that lead to tuning a '96 Grand Am GT (12.8sec 1/4mi was my best) and my '03 Explorer Sportrac that had a blower shoved into the engine bay. With the Flex, I'm aiming for a modest 500hp at the wheels. But first, I've had to do the ENTIRE timing system that was luckily under warranty, currently replacing the PTU at 84k and will start the engine and computer upgrades over the next 5-6m. Chasing a 3yr old around slows me down.

Welcome to the community!  Getting the timing system out of its' own way is a big help LOL.  Same with PTU.

Post pics of your ride, and look forward to your build and PBs at the strip!  Maybe farm out the driving duties to the 3 yr old :D

it's a problem when Tim isn't on my side. I have 2 other builds in progress right now with my Dad ('72 couga XR-7) and my husband's '86 Cougar.
