Title: Note to self-beware of Tesla
Post by: 6500rpm on February 24, 2020, 04:35:18 PM
After seeing this bright yellow Tesla  dispatch a Hemi Charger on the way home we had a chance to have a go at it another few miles up. Give or take 1/8 mi pull in drizzle from a stop, he pulled me by a car and a half from the start and we stayed even at that point.  I'm not tuned but wholly s*** they launch hard. I think it was a S model? Yeah, I'll be calling GH in another month  when the weather breaks. Live, learn, and spend more $$$

3p's are no joke on the 19" rubber.  In insane mode they are 2.99 seconds to 60 on oem/good rubber ..  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fastest_production_cars_by_acceleration

Yep I only have one L in the street light to street light Grand Prix so far....and it was to Tesla P100D.  It was close for about 100 feet, then it looked like I dropped an anchor.
