Title: 2012 Flex EB Transmission
Post by: Motohead on December 09, 2021, 11:06:49 AM
So after 155,000 miles of torture (many passes at the track and in mexico) my transmission has failed I have decided to go the used route I have sourced a trans from a 2011 EB Flex. It was already removed from the vehicle (PN on the used trans is AA5P-7000DC). I haven't climbed under my flex yet but the used trans has a 3 bolt torque converter and I was thinking the EB flexes have a 4 bolt torque converter am I correct or not.

check fordpartsgiant.com to confirm,. if they dont have pics, you can pull up the p/n on ebay to get pics.

Just finished checking I can confirm I was wrong. The 2012 Flex EB has 3 converter bolts looks like the junkyard trans is a match
