Title: 37 Ford Ecoboost 2.0 6R80 Build
Post by: exhausting on January 07, 2018, 10:43:35 AM
I have driven the car around a large parking lot. It is apart now for completion, body/interior etc.
Happy to answer questions as I have worked through several.

Ford Performance 2.0 Crate motor
2015 Mustang 6R80
Fatman Full Chassis

What type of tune are you running? How do you like the 2.0?

The Engine as delivered from Ford has a "Control Pack Installation Kit", Pt# M-6017-20T.
It is boosted from the stock Focus tune up to about 350ftlbs @2900rpm. Special plugs and does not use Cats.
It is supposed to be used with a Manual transmission.
I have changed from the Focus angled pan to a MUstang 2.3L pan and pickup, the 6R80 needs the 2.3 mustang flywheel and starter but it all goes together just fine.
Just got the body back from being wrapped so its on to the final assembly. We will see how it performs.
Ford Performance P/N: M-6007-20T  4V TiVCT GTDI Crate Engine. HAs a Throttle pedal, PCM and a full wiring harness, controll relay module.
It should all fit into a Focus so I had to modify the wiring.

I have seen 24lbs of boost. US Shift Quick 6 TCU is awesome. About 25mpg general driving and 30 cruising the highway. 75mph is 2200 rpm and around atmosphere in intake. Ready to go!
