Has anyone run wider tires on their stock 19 or 20 wheels? The stock 19s on my SHO are 8.5" wide. Based on tire specs, I could run 275/45R19 but they are a taller sidewall and potentially has more flex during cornering. 275/40R19 has a minimum wheel width spec of 9", but I was curious if 275s would fit properly in the front?
Stock tires on mine are Badyear RS-A 255/45R19.
I would physically check your OEM rims are indeed 8.5" in width.
'10's thru '12's as far as I was aware of, including mine, are 8".
IDK about '13's and up however.

It's 19x8.5, yep the Hyper Silver 13-14 SHO wheels. I noticed they stopped offering these soon after.
I didn't order the Perf Pkg mainly because they were summer tires (picked up the car in early January with 10 inches of ice in the subdivisions), meh looking 20" wheels, and narrow 245 stock tires.
I got a message saying this post was moved, but I thought I'd mention that the 275s were probably the coolest thing I did to the SHO. I'm not surprised to see 275s are stock for the 2020 Explorer ST. The 275s would just glide across potholes because they were so wide.

Yea, the notification was due to moving stuff trying to make the forum less confusing which was a lot of people's complaint.
I wanted to go 275's but I also didn't want to deal with rubbing etc since I was lowered already.
